True Asian Restaurant (Tilden Road)

On Friday 08-29-25. I called in an order. Picked up my order and when I got home I opened my bag which was nicely stapled closed. I was so disappointed as began to open my containers.. I don't order out much but wanted to treat myself looking forward to a great week-end. I ordered the crab rangoon, unfortunately they were dry, hard, and the stuffing inside was non existent or dried up. The california sushi tasted old, I was scared to continue eating it. I am 80 years of age and felt I can not afford to get sick from food poisoning. The spring and egg rolls were dried out and hard. The only thing I was able to eat a little of was the chicken fried rice but it was tasteless and dry. As I was trying to eat my order, I remembered that I had picked up some hot and sour soup about six weeks ago and remembered that I really did not enjoy it, it was too thick and too salty. I spent $40 of my hard earned money and was so sorry that I forgot how bad the soup was. I felt that they had given me food that was cooked hours earlier. The restaurant was closing in about 45 minutes and I felt I must have gotten food that was left over or food that had been cancelled. I hardly ever do reviews but I was so disappointed and mad that I had started my week-end off with this bad experience and lost $40 for nothing. Eventho I live just around the corner from this restaurant I will never eat at True Asian again. I feel the person that prepared my food had to know that this was not acceptable but sole it to me anyway. I probably would have taken it back because nothing I ordered was good, but the restaurant was closed.

I have ordered food from here numerous times and it is wonderful, but today I ordered burbon chicken and it was dry and overcooked and I couldn't eat it.

Hugely disappointed. I’ve used this place a few times and it’s been ok, but the meal on Saturday was shocking. All 4 of us left more than half of our meal. Pork was like leather. Chicken slimy. Thai green curry was just liquid. The hassle we had trying to secure a GF meal was ridiculous. I don’t believe it’s the same chef since their name change.

Love coming back to this restaurant. Always enjoy the quality of their sushi and highly recommended their garlic/spicy edamame as well as their chicken Pad Thai!! Enjoy! :)

Ordered the BoBo Platter to go. Get home and the food was dry and tough. Food quality was poor compared to what it was several months ago. Disappointed and won’t be going back

Staff VERY RUDE. sushi was FIRE!

The server was rude all the time.

I decided to give this place a try from DoorDash, ordering two roll special. I should’ve believed the reviews of small portion I got FOUR PIECES of sushi. FOUR. Better off going to Bamboo in Ocoee

Don’t waste your money here. Small portions for the price. Normally a small order comes in a 16 oz container and large in a 32 oz. Their large container is only 26 oz, as stated on the container bottom. Food wasn’t too good either. Ordered Chicken Lo Mein and could only find a few small shreds of chicken. Sesame Chicken was good, but Chicken Fried Rice had a lot to be desired. Crab Rangoon was ok too. Two entrees, fried rice and Crab Rangoon was $53

Disgusting. Don't order from this place.
