They have a nice size menu and authentic Mexican. Don't forget the drinks or smoothies; yum! The service is awesome. We also order take out or delivery. Not delivery is routed via DoorDash but until the point of handoff; they are very good and friendly. Ambiance is fairly loud, friendly place with authentic Mexican feel. Cool place to hang out, bring family or a date.

Had a great first time here today! Loved the vibes of the decor and the place itself was so clean and welcoming. We had great service, I do wish our waitress came around a tiny bit more, but she was great and very nice. The food and drinks were so delicious. We've been looking for good Mexican food since moving from CA and have officially found it!

We met some friends to try this place for dinner and WOW our whole party was extremely impressed with this place! They said they margaritas were some of the best they had had. We started with queso fundido, which was amazing and that crunchy burnt cheese left in the skillet? Definitely scrape that up with your fork and don't leave it behind. SO good. And now for the main event! Shame on me, I didn't get a single picture, it was that good we just dug right in. Taquitos - great portion, the shredded beef was nice + tender, great flavor. The sauce that comes smothered on top was a green sauce with an explosion of different flavors, SO good. Pozole - out of this world. Broth with also a great depth of flavors + a nice amount of spice. Tender chunks of pork that just melted in your mouth... it was phenomenal Chimichanga- delicious, great portion, great flavor Carne asada - yum! Tender, marinated very well and also an explosion of flavors. Overall, every single entree was something we would order again and I already want to go back there and eat! Desserts - DO IT. We got the dulce de leche churros + a fried ice cream. Both amazing. The churros had these little pockets of dulce de leche in the middle, gah... don't pass them up!

My son had the pulled chicken burrito...didn't leave anything behind. Rice and refried beans (which are vegetarian) were great. Absolutely NOTHING I can mark this place down on! Ambiance is bright and authentic. Plenty of parking. The place is clean. The people are a standout! ( At 19, Jessuel could be managing a restaurant.) They've got college and high-school age people working here...all were smiling, energetic and not on their phones. Assistant manager was very nice as well. This family business is being run the right way! Clearly, the management and staff takes a lot of pride in their work.

My wife and I absolutely loved Tacos & Tequila. We went for their Taco Tuesday deal and were honestly blown away by the quality of their tacos for the price. We also shared the Birria nachos, and absolutely loved it. They also have a unique avocado spicy salsa that is the best salsa we've ever had! This is a GREAT restaurant for Mexican food... from authentic Chilaquiles, to pozole, to something more popular like Fajitas. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable, they made my day. The environment has a very "Mexican-vibe" since they have playing rancheras and Mexican baladas (songs) in the background. Very recommended for anyone craving authentic Mexican food!!

Delicious food and excellent service. My boyfriend and I went after hearing about the restaurant by the owner, we were amazed with every aspect of the quality and service. Food and service Looking for a different Mexican restaurant to visit and Yelp led me to this place. On a Friday night around 6:30 we arrived and was seated quickly. They have a nice patio for outdoor seating, but we decided to sit inside. The waitress took our drink order immediately and recommended a few drinks. We ordered the skinny margarita, which was great!! For our entrees we order the garlic shrimp and birria tacos. Both items were AMAZING!! The beef was tender and full of flavor and the consume excellent. I have had birria tacos before and sometimes the beef is tough or it can be too salty, but they have perfected a great balance of flavors! We're definitely returning!!

The birria tacos are my favorite, but there are several options to choose from and you can't go wrong with any! While their house salsa is amazing, their avocado salsa is the best salsa I have ever had. It is SPICY!!! though, so be prepared. While their tacos are delicious and phenomenal, the casa special is my favorite thing on the menu. With so many flavors, you can't go wrong with this classic Mexican dish. Good deals, great service, and tasty food!

No photos this time since I just got takeout - but this place really came in for me when I needed it! There isn't much Mexican to be found yet in Horizon West, and this wasn't too far of a drive and offered takeout! I ordered the birria tacos and their queso dip with chorizo. The queso was good value and came with so many chips! They even packed up the table chips and salsa and included them in my to-go order, which I appreciated! The queso wasn't my all time favorite but certainly did the job and was tasty. The birria tacos also hit the spot! The shells weren't quite as crunchy (perhaps because of takeout) as other options I've had, but the flavor was great and they gave me plenty of salsa and consommé to dip in. A filling meal when I needed it! I'd come back to dine in for sure.

My husband and I go to Taco and Tequila once or twice a week. We love the food and service. We usually get the street tacos with rice and beans. Something special about their rice. Service is always good. We always request Bori but have also been happy with Norma, Pia and Estrella.

They are known for their great margaritas and I certainly enjoyed the blue margarita! For lunch i ordered the burrito clasico (w/ ground beef). I really enjoyed the burrito.
