Great food just like in New Orleans. I've had several dishes from here and they are all fantastic.

Stopped here for dinner on a whim and very happy we did! That evening they had all windows and doors open so it was great being able to enjoy the weather. Very friendly and attentive service. The food was definitely prepared on-site and everything was delicious. The fried green tomatoes, shrimp, jambalaya were excellent and even the hush puppies were outstanding. I don’t usually eat them because I don’t care for them but they were delicious here. This is a place we’ll bring our guests to if they want some Cajun food. We’re looking forward to going back!

I'm only giving two stars because I received good service. If you like good food with affordable prices, please go somewhere else. The food is very bland. Nothing special to it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and my girlfriend order a quesadilla. We both order a shot tequila I ordered three beers. She ordered one drink which came out to $72. I almost fell off my chair. This is bar food we're talking about, I would never ever come back to this place too expensive for what they serve.

It looks like they may be under new management, and it's not good. I always get the Pontchartrain chicken, and it's never disappointed for almost 4 years, and lately, it's been terrible. The rice tastes like Uncle Ben's 90 second rice, and the sauce tastes like hot mayonnaise. The live music was loud and annoying. If you want to have a drink and listen to live music, this place is for you, but if you want a good Cajun meal with a decent noise level, go somewhere else like Tibby's.

We used to frequent as we love Cajun food, but this was the first time since 2020. Unfortunately I don't think we will go back. They no longer have crawfish etoufee on the menu (it was my favorite there), they said it was the special of the month and they were sold out. Mind you this was at 6pm on a Monday with hardly anyone there, how the heck would you already be sold out at dinner time?? I ended up getting the $17 jambalaya which had no shrimp and hardly any chicken. The menu doesn't specify that there's anything other than sausage, and they had to clarify there was chicken included when I asked for it to be added. Also they now charge $2 for cornbread that used to come with the meal. The only good part of the experience is that our waitress Dani was awesome and attentive. I understand that there is new management and it definitely shows. I'm so bummed as I was looking forward to this meal.

This place is under net ownership and it shows. It use to be the best but now it’s mediocre at best. Sad too because it use to be amazing. Staff was friendly but food was not the same. Even the crawfish tasted frozen and bland. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

Fun local spot for your Cajun favorites!Staff was accommodating and fun. Truly seemed like stepping into a Nawlins bar. I sat at the bar and watched each dish come out. They all looked good. I had the 1lb. of boiled crawfish, out of season but still tasty. I’ll be back!

I have never in my life had worse "Cajun" food than this. The jambalaya isn't even Jambalaya, and it's dry and old... WITH NO SHRIMP. Everything is old and microwaved and nothing is remotely authentically Cajun about any of it. Putting some pepper in your food doesn't make it "Cajun" for crying out loud! Authenticity aside, the quality of the food itself is just awful. Even cheap, standard bar food is far better than this. I've eaten here on two separate occasions separated by at least a year's time, and it only has gotten even more terrible as time has went on. After giving them two chances, I'll never go back here again.

This used to be one of our go to spots. Not sure what happen but it seems like since the VID this place has fallen off big time. Some of our favorites were removed from the menu. Boudin Balls was one of the only reasons I would really come here and those are gone. It's unfortunate because we really enjoyed this spot but at this point I would rather take the drive to Lakeland an hour away and go eat at Harry's. Hopefully they are able to turn things around.

Hard pass, folks. We came in around lunch time. There was one table with two people that were leaving as we arrived. A young man in a hat and glasses told us to sit anywhere so we took a table by the windows. We were the only patrons. There was one female employee sitting at the bar rubbing on and feeding a guy that wasn't in employee clothing. We ordered a beer and a Hurricane to start. I watched the bar as many minutes passed and our server was just hanging out behind the bar chatting with the female employee seated at the bar. At some point another female employee came out from the kitchen, jumped into the conversation and brought out snacks for all of the others and they all just hung out at the bar eating snacks and chatting. After 10-15min, we got up and I said, "We're just going to go" and go an "Ok, Bye!" from our server. What a bizarre experience.. We love NOLA cuisine but aside from the terrible service, the menu items were truly subpar.

Very nice atmosphere. Laid back place. The food was okay. The food is advertised as cajun and it was okay if you are not expecting 100% authentic. It is definitely better than cajun in Virginia but does not meet Louisiana standards. The gator bites were the best item we tried and the muffaletta comes in 2nd!

Came in for a quick lunch, extremely satisfied! Crayfish fried perfectly, bread was crisp and soft, and the veggies were fresh and clean. Waiter was extremely attentive as well. Zero complaints!! Will be back!

My first visit and was not disappointed . Took my friend for her birthday and the server Stephanie was wonderful. We had bloody marys (spicy) and Hurricanes for drinks with a fried sampler appetizer to start and everything was great. Shrimp and grits, jambalaya and etouffee was authentic.
