My first time trying barbecue from A&S BBQ this past weekend, and my family and I are HOOKED! Reminds me of that old skool WH flava of some of the historical BBQ stands like Snow's. 10/10 for me. Ribs and chicken were both juicy and flavorful!

What no one tells you about Big Daddy's BBQ is that it is almost scary to go inside. It's dark. There are threatening signs outside. And ordering through the plexiglass-covered windows surrounded by cinderblock makes a person feel like they're visiting a prisoner. You have to choose your sauce without having any idea what the choices taste like. (I got honey bbq.) The food isn't fast. Prepare to wait. And then, when it arrives - please, take your time. Enjoy the food. SAVOR it. Because it is the BEST barbecue you will EVER eat. I got the ribs and two weeks later, I'm still wishing we'd driven back to Big Daddy's for more ribs. I dream about them now. I'm an out-of-towner, from up north, just stopped here on vacation based on TripAdvisor reviews. We don't normally go to Florida for vacation. But honestly, I can't stop thinking about those ribs so we may have to change our "normal" vacation plans. I hope to God they are still there when I find my way back.

We go for the oxtail and goat meat dinners which are not easy to find in the area. They melt in your mouth. The sides are delicious, your plate is packed. My husband eats a lot and he's satisfied. I eat mine in 2 sittings. It's drive through only. The girl that takes your order wears a mask correctly on her face which makes me feel comfortable buying there. Enjoy your meal, keep safe.

The food was awesome. The staff professional and friendly. I always get the ribs, but this time I tried the salad, topped with grill chicken & shrimp. It was loaded.
