Our family has a vacation home in Winterhaven and we have frequented Andy’s for nearly 15 years. We have so many memories of wonderful days that include burgers at Andy’s!! A year ago a li grime client of mine moved to Lakeland from Michigan and called me asking if I had ever heard of this great burger place in Winterhaven / I asked the name and sure enough Andy’s!!! lol.My favorite grumble about the restaurant is that they are cash only - but trust me, I get grief every time I grumble :)Do yourself and your kids a favor - make Andy’s part of your Disney / Florida routine and join a nationwide family of diners!!

The people were nice but objectively, the fish and chips were gross and undercooked (I'm very unpicky... but it was the worst food ive had in a long time). Also beware it is cash only but has no signs upon entry showing it as such. If you want a cool 60s diner experience in Polk County, go to Frostbite in Frostproof. They take cards and more modern payment methods including a pay link where you can pay your receipt from table using google pay, apple pay or paypal (without having to go to the register or leave your table).

This was our first time eating at Andy's. I was really disappointed. I can't believe I spend so much money here . I ordered food to go. Pepsi was flat, I ordered country fried steak they gave me chicken fried steak, pulled pork sandwich was dry tasted old like it had been from the day before, my salad wasn't in the bag or dipping sauces, burgers tasted weird, no real flavor and bread was soggy, green beans had no flavor or seasoning and were stringy. Really nothing is seasoned. Best thing about the visit was the girl that took the order. She was very sweet. I should have just saved my money and cooked at home.

I've tried the restaurant twice now and with my family but both times I've come to the conclusion this place is not as good as they make it seem. We've had burgers, steaks, and shrimp with sides everything had no taste. The portions are not big at all. For desserts you can just go direct to the Igloo. Save your cash and time from going to the restaurant side.

This place reminds me of home.Great food at reasonable prices. My favorite place in Winter Haven to go for a good burger, fried okra and especially the ice cream and shakes. Waite staff is friendly and attentive. Be forewarned though… this is a cash only place. They don’t take cards, they do have an atm on site.
My family and I have loved and frequent Andy's igloo for the past 45 years! This restaurant has been privately owned since before I was born. The food, drinks, and service are amazing, fast, delicious, and have attentive service. Eating at Andy's igloo IS INCREDIBLE and DELICIOUS. And it has been for HALF a CENTURY! If you are in Polk County and you love Burgers, salads, fried chicken, pot roast or a delicious hand scoop and spun MILKSHAKES! Don't take my review for it. GO AND TRY IT YOURSELF. I had a 1/2 pound burger with a Fried Egg, Chef Salad with their homemade Italian vinegar dressing that tastes amazing on everything. Try a peanut butter shake. Not Recees... BUT ACTUAL PEANUT BUTTER.No need for thanks. ITS MY PLEASURE!!!Kid-friendliness: I ate here as a kid, and 45 years later, it's just as great as the 1st time!!
