The food was great. The service was good but got 3 stars due to the hostess being unprofessional. I ordered a drink that was supposed to have Jamison in it off of their menu, but they had none. Was offered to cancel the drink or sub the alcohol. I frequent this location often. They have great meal deals and appetizers specials if you sit at the bar. I've ordered all of the appetizers, and the only one I wouldn't recommend is the nachos. While plentiful and enough to share, it was lacking in the taste department. My favorite appetizer is the chips and queso. The queso is rich and flavorful. You can actually taste the peppers in it and not just the cheese!!!

Management needs to look at the crowd. I'm 53 and was probably the youngest one here for 45 min. The horrible noise someone called music was simply inappropriate. Rap music belongs in a night club, not in a family restaurant.

Every time we come here, we wait for over an hour to get service or drinks. It’s awful

We have been to Applebee's quite often but it has been several years ago. It was one of our favorite places back then.
Unfortunately, times change things.
We were seated by a pleasant host.
We sat and slowly perused the menu as we weren't familiar with it now. Many things are the same but there are some new items too.
We had decided what we wanted so we sat and waited for someone to come and take our order. We waited and waited. Maybe 30-45 minutes. The people on our right came in after us, had their drink order taken, received and their food order taken before we had anyone come over.
Finally, we asked about it to some worker who happened to come by. In a few minutes a server came over and profusely apologized. He said there was confusion with the host and he would take our order now. He did and said he would be right back with our drinks. By now the people to our right were enjoying their food.
We waited about another half hour for our drinks. Again the server profusely apologized.
We finally received our food.
My sister ordered the lime chicken in the 2 for... Menu.
She said it was delicious 😋
(I had had a friend say the same thing when she came with me.)
I ordered the 6oz sirloin, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans (I think) in the 2 for ... Menu. It was cooked excellent and was very good. Except I asked for A1 sauce and didn't get it until the last quarter of my steak.
Both meals came with a large Caesar salad. We could have gotten a tossed salad but opted for Caesar. Or we could have gotten 1 appetizer to split instead. I think the salad was a good option.
My son ordered the Big Burger, (I don't remember the exact name of it). It had 2 patties, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese plus pickles on it on the picture. It looked like a handful. In reality he got what looked like a slider size burger. It might've had 2 patties, I couldn't tell. It was full of lettuce, there was cheese and no tomato. He didn't want pickles. The amount of fries he got was like someone took their fingertips and picked up some fries and put them on his plate. It looked like a child's meal. My son, although special needs, is a full grown man. He was still hungry and wanted me to buy him a chicken tenders meal, which unfortunately I didn't have the money for.
We didn't try to get someone to take it back because we couldn't find ANY servers or anyone coming over by us.
The couple of times throughout the night that the people to our right, who got wonderful service, had someone come there and we tried to get the server's attention before they left, we were completely ignored. Our server barely showed up.
When our server did show up he looked at my sister, who was aggravated and figured she better not say anything at this point. He would ask her if everything was ok, she would just look at him. He'd ask if we needed anything else and she would just look at him. Then he would look at my son and I on the other side of the table and say well good. If you need anything else let me know. Before I could open my mouth he would be gone.
I never got to get my son anything else. I had thought I could get him a side or a dessert to fill him up.
Although my sister's and my my meals were delicious, we had come for my son and let him pick the place to go to eat. With him going away hungry, I was hugely disappointed and all the other problems compounded that feeling.
I can't say I will never go back again but I can say it will be a long time before I do.
I hope they read this review and do something to correct these problems.

Food is great when you finally get it. Poor service at the Winter Haven, FL...lack of cooks, not enough waiters/waitresses. Very cold inside restaurant that people waiting outside for wait list of 25+ minutes due to lack of cooks on 03/09/25.

Was just at this restaurant and they placed us on the waiting list. While waiting I counted 18 empty tables. Finally it was our turn to be seated and I asked to be seated outside but I was told that he didn't know who could wait on us there. There were others outside eating so I told him that we would just go somewhere else. It didn't seem to bother him that we walked out. Very poor service and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. I hope whomever owns this restaurant sees this and takes appropriate actions or it won't be in business much longer.

Went there for Dinner, they refused to honor a deal they had in their website (they even said if I ordered online for a to go order they would have to honor but as a done in they would not), I ordered something different, my wife’s food came after 40 min, mine came after 1.5 hours, so instead of sharing a meal, I watched her eat her meal and then she has to wait for my meal to come, we ordered drinks, the drinks took 30 min and when they came, they were the wrong ones, we questioned and the waiter said that the order was correct and that was a new version, well the drinks tools 30 min, she assured that was the right order so we took a sit, we checked on the website and no, those were indeed the wrong drinks, the waiter refused to replace them as we had already sipped on them, then we were charged extra as the wrong drinks apparently costed more than what we had actually ordered, been a long time customer but the experience at this location will make me think twice before coming back.

Came during valentine's day expecting a crazy wait but it was quick. Charli made our night though. Would come all the time if I knew it was Charli serving us everytime. 10/10 service.

Horrible place don’t come here at all we waited about 6 minutes bartender clearly saw us and just kept chatting with costumers at the bar finally attended us after 6 minutes because we had said something and the one who attended us was the bartender who was not busy at all was just chatting with the costumers at the bar and told us she was super busy to clean a table we wanted which is a booth we ended up just leaving due to her attitude and there wasn’t even a lot of people maybe about 12 people in the restaurant we ended up not ordering anything horrible service and rude gave us looks and everything I don’t know if she didn’t want to give us service due to us being Hispanics but was horrible service and everything good thing we left !!

Me and my family will not be back! The food was gross and we waited an hour to be seated and another hour on the food. I got the chicken with shrimp and mashed potatoes the mashed potatoes were bland the chicken and shrimp tasted like the flat top hasnt been cleaned properly the chicken nor the shrimp had no flavor besides the taste of burnt food from the flat top. Also a long hair was sitting right on top of my brothers burger. The sodas we ordered tasted like they came from a ran down gasstation and the server could not take them off the total even tho we said they were gross and swopped them for water. I was still hungry when i left because i couldnt eat my food. 10 out of 10 do not reccomend!!!!
