so our office ordered approximately seven orders through door dash
NOT ONLY were the prices over $15 when on their menu range from $6-$7, but the food was not edible

One lady ordered a BLT, received a rye sandwich with feta cheese and spinach
My burger was hard as a rock, little to no cheese, fries were burnt and not edible, I asked for chili and received pork n beans
The other lady threw her food in the garbage, it was poorly handled and not edible

What a waste of money and now we are all hungry because we thought ordering from a dinner was a good idea for the staff.

NEVER EVER AGAIN, you just lost 28 customers by bringing this food to a few of us today. NO ONE HERE WILL EVER stop in or come in.

The food was delicious. The portions were huge. The cost was very reasonable. I was recommended BIG Tom's by a friend. It didn't disappoint. WELL DONE.

My wife and moved to Eagle Lake a couple of months ago from Orlando and we were trying to find out where the good eats are. We stumbled across Big Tom’s Diner and decided to give it a try 01/25/26. If you want no frills good food and friendly service, then you’re in the right place. Big menu. Huge portions!

food portions are getting smaller and prices getting higher, but thats everywhere. It's now changed owners I think 3 times in the past few years , but they keep trying to be good and for the most part they are succeeding.

I just had to write this review after eating at Big Tom's today. They were very, very busy today. The lady at the hosting station was so impressive. She never stopped moving. She greeted people with a smile, led them to their table, helped clean tables, brought food to people, worked at the register and even swept the floor by the door. I've never seen a restaurant worker so efficient...she never stopped moving. I had to ask her name when we left so I could write this review. Her name is CASSANDRA so I hope her boss will please give her the appreciation she deserves!!

Every time I go to Tom’s, I try to get something different. I’ve been there quite a few times and I love the food. The waitresses are really friendly and it’s an overall good place to eat.

Good food. Great service. I had the steak and the wife had the shrimp and grits, the waitress recommended. We toast our biscuit, which was great

First time visiting food came out cold and gross and the waitress was not very pleasant she was always rushed and literally threw things on the table we almost walked out but waited for our food which again came out cold and gross. My husband and I didn’t get to eat together he had breakfast which just eggs & hashbrowns which were greasy and cold and stale toast mine was rib dinner and again was cold and not even grilled like they were boiled then slapped some bbq on them the baked beans were to be bbq and they tasted like right out of a can. When she brought the coffee she didn’t even check to see if we had sugar or cream and ran off. Very disappointed and won’t be back

We stopped by Big Tom’s for breakfast and tried the Reuben sandwich — it was absolutely delicious! The meat was perfectly cooked, the bread was toasted just right, and everything tasted super fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and clean. Definitely a place worth coming back to for breakfast or brunch!

My wife and I went for breakfast, and overall the food was pretty good. The hashbrown casserole was a little bland and very cheesy, but everything else we ordered was tasty. The service was excellent—very attentive—and the place had a welcoming, local vibe, with staff greeting regulars by name. I’d definitely recommend it for breakfast, as that’s the only meal I’ve tried so far. The food was good, and the prices were quite reasonable.
