What a surprise! I go to buffets all over. I often am in Winter Haven. The little lunch buffets are plentiful but not breakfast. They are either still closed from Covid or limited in offerings. Cafe Blu is in the Holiday Inn....use your GPS. It was 11.95. Bagles and Danishes. Oatmeal yogurt and cereals. Walnuts and raisins for oatmeal. Even peanut butter for toast or Bagles. Eggs...sausage...and a ton of bacon. Full soda machine with all selections. Coffee and I asked for decaf...
Gotta say, for being inside the Holiday Inn, they are turning out some pretty good stuff. The shrimp scampi penne was outstanding. Even the red skin mashed potato’s, ciabatta bread, and cheesecake were all high quality. Only open in the morning for breakfast buffet (which was above average for a motel), and evenings for dinner menu service. No lunch. There is also a full liquor bar inside the restaurant. Very pleasant staff too.
