I've been coming here (not as a routine) for almost 7 months....the bread is SUPER soft and they load their sandwiches/subs with a lot of meat and veggies. The staff? Although only 2 people, make it work perfectly. If you haven't been, I suggest going. Subway SUCKS and Jersey Mikes is overpriced. Let's make Deli Basket #1 🥳

Worst corned beef sandwich I have ever had. Advertised pastrami; did not have. The corned beef was like rubber; couldn’t even chew it. My husband and I would definitely NOT recommend!!

Deli Basket in Winter Haven is an absolute gem! Every time I stop by, I’m reminded why it’s my go-to spot — their sandwiches are simply unbeatable. You can taste the freshness and care in every bite, and they have a huge variety to choose from, so there’s always something new to try.
What really sets Deli Basket apart, though, is the people. The service is always warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind — you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. It’s rare these days to find a place that gets both great food and great service right, but they do it effortlessly.
If you’re anywhere near Winter Haven, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t find a better sandwich or a friendlier crew anywhere

We drove out to Winter Haven after AI recommended Deli Basket as one of the best sandwich spots near Lakeland—and it was spot on. I had the signature deli club, and my wife had the turkey on pumpernickel. The bread was impressively soft (not the usual tough ciabatta), and the flavors were fantastic. My wife would have preferred oven-roasted turkey over smoked, but she still gave it a 9.5/10. Definitely worth the trip!
We both had their delicious Ruben Sandwich. Very happy!

My wife and I stopped in to try out the Deli Basket for the first time. She had their vegetarian sandwich and I had their signature deli club, both were absolutely delicious and the lady that is the owner was very gracious and helpful. The only problem with this place is …it’s a 40 minute drive from my house.😁 We will be back. Highly recommended.
