Flightline Cafe & Catering

Went today w/a party of like 10 people for the 1st time. we had called ahead and they had a table all set up for us. They were about 30% capacity. We were told they were out of several things, ie french toast, philly cheese steak & cole slaw. Waited for 45 minutes after ordering for our food. Multiple things wrong with multiple plates. Sausage gravey that looked disgusting lumpy and tasted weird. Over cooked burgers, burnt bread on a Rueban, cold tater tots. Scrambled eggs that were wet ie not done. A BLT that had 1 piece of lettuce, 1 slice of tomatoe and 2 clumps of burnt bacon. The waitress finally asked how things were and I said to be honest not good....then she ghosted our table. Waited another 20 minutes and she did not return or bring a manager by. I got up and approached a man working and asked if there was a manager and he introduced himself as "Q" and said he was the manager. I told him what was happening and he said he was sorry and said he was unsure what happened. He asked if we would give them another chance and apologized. He talked to several people in our party and saw the amount of food that was left behind on the plates. As I was leaving and paying the bill (which did not get discounted) the waitress told me the restaurant was under new ownership.

This is a place you go & feel connected with your local community. There are a lot of friendly regulars. Karaoke nights are busy, especially at dinner opening, but worth the extra wait. I recently learned, karaoke makes you happy; don't be afraid to sing. 😁

Been driving by and finally stopped in with our ladies book club. What a hidden gem. Open limited hours, but can get breakfast all day. Appetizers of fried green tomatoes drizzled with ranch n feta and fried pickles so so good! Each of our meals were fresh, hot and delectable. Chicken wrap, tuna salad sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, pastrami n Swiss, and chicken n waffles. Sides of fries or sweet potato waffle fries, onion rings were all crunchy fresh.

A really great airport cafe. Oshkosh replays on the TV. Great tasting food and great service. Nothing not to like!

Flight line cafe & Catering is a place to eat delicious food and watch planes take off. We met a nice gentleman name Kal talking about the cafe and operations which made it feel welcome.

I really wanted to like this place, we set outside so my kids got to see the planes land and take off. Things started off great , until the food arrived. Food was bland, I ordered the fried fish it was slimy with a bit of a smell. I ordered tenders as well and they were dry over cooked. I ordered an additional side which never came. We were never checked on by our waiter, our drinks ran out. They did take my meal off the check " I had to ask" and upon check out I mentioned how I did not get my other side as well and I got a huff, not even an apology. Maybe this was a hiccup for them, I don't know but first time experience was not good.

Service sucks here. The young girl with the reddish black hair and the funky eyeliner can't even acknowledge you even exist. This is the 3rd time we have been here and she is this way every time. If you know you are gonna be busy hire more servers. The tall cook had to serve us.

I was part of a party of 8 that went to Flight Line Cafe in the Winter Haven Airport this evening. We arrived at 5:00 pm when they opened with only 3 other people there. Our waitress took our order of the hamburger special and took it into the kitchen. As we were sitting there another large party came in and then the restaurant began to fill up. Our order was placed at approximately 5:15 pm and at 6:15 pm we still had not received our food, but the other tables were all being served their hamburger specials. We asked our waitress about our order and were given some excuse. We waited a few more minutes got up and asked again about our order and again the waitress said she didn't know why our food was not up and we watched them serve another table, SO WE LEFT! I do not recommend this cafe to anyone unless you are a regular there and sing karaoke. We have been to Flight Line Cafe many times and have never been treated this way.

Had a great time. Grinch made it special. Karaoke was great too.

Great experience! Food was very good. The sausage/veggie omelet was delicious. Veggies tasted fresh, and potatoes were perfectly salted. The beef nachos were a good size and shareable, and the Philly cheese steak was also good. Fair prices! We loved to eat outside and watch passenger planes take off. It was a great and unique experience. Highly recommend visiting!

When I asked for my cappuccino extra hot, she not only listened but delivered on my request.

Great little spot to enjoy real food, made on premise.

First time visiting found this place online went there around dinner time on a Tuesday night which was “TacoTuesday “ only to find out they had no tacos the waitress kept apologizing while also stating that the reason being is because it was karaoke night and by it not being a big crowd they weren’t prepared she also said it was a very slow night so they didn’t have any. Which I would think the total opposite but after constantly apologizing again she stated she would see if the kitchen could make us something anyway. So i ordered quesadillas with sweet potato fries and my husband did fish tacos with fries When the food arrived the fish tacos only had lettuce and tomato with barely any fish they brought my sweet potato fries which were burnt with only like 6 fries never got my quesadilla the cook never made it. So when the waitress came and asked was everything ok we let her know it was horrible and we were just going to leave. Our dinner was ruined it was the most horrible experience ever. The waitress was apologetic once again went to talk to the owner or manager they never came to talk to us but gave us a 5 dollar off of a 25$ purchase for the next “ visit “ we threw in the garbage. We will never return there. That was the first and last time. Crazy thing is my husband still gave the waitress a tip because she was very nice and seem to be the only one that was concerned about our experience.
