Place was absolutely disgusting. My family and I walked in and walked right out. When we walked in it had a nasty rotten smell. Then when we looked around there were dirty napkins all over the floor. There was a dead lizard on the floor. I wouldn’t let my dog eat here. Go to the one in Lake Wales definitely worth the drive if you live in Winter Haven.

The chicken was undercooked, as well as missing items. This food was delivered and when called was offered for me to return the food for a remake. Since I had the food delivered, I was left no choice but to finish cooking the food and deal with the missing items. The manager, who relayed this through a young lady, did not want to provide his name. Something not right about that. I recommend a different Hibachi Express, the food, when properly prepared is rather good.
Genuine Japanese restaurant. Very delicious food. A lot of choices. You can also buy authentic Japanese beverages. A must to go restaurant when going to legoland.

I was just looking for something casual to eat and I found this place. I really like the taste it’s not salty and not without flavor, though the chicken was a bit dry everything else was very well done and the staff was quick not talkative but I’m okay with that. Overall I like the place and recommend people who like Japanese food to come here!

On 10/03 around 9:00 p.m., my son called in a pickup order for three meals: one Hibachi steak and shrimp, and two chicken and shrimp. When he got home to Bartow, to my surprise, only one of the three orders was correct. The food looked like leftovers — mostly rice — one container had almost nothing but rice and a few vegetables, and another had what looked like fried shrimp instead of the Hibachi chicken and shrimp combo.
By the time my son arrived, the restaurant was already closed, so I couldn’t call right away. My son’s order was correct, so he ate his, and my daughter tried to eat a little of hers, but mine was completely inedible. It was honestly nasty.
The next day, I called to explain what happened and told the lady I couldn’t eat mine. She said she would speak with the manager, and later told me the manager agreed to replace the meals — but only with lunch portions. I offered to bring the food back since we didn’t eat it, but she said it wasn’t necessary. Because of that, I threw the food away, trusting her word.
When I drove from Bartow to the restaurant today, they only offered to replace one meal with one meat option, saying the others were eaten — which is not true. I explained that the employee who took the order entered it incorrectly, not my son. I also told her that any business should take accountability for their employees’ mistakes.
I even offered to pay the difference if necessary, but they refused. In the end, they only replaced one meal with a single meat option instead of the combo. I almost refused to take it, but I wasn’t going to let them keep my money either.
Overall: Very disappointing experience. Poor service, no accountability, and terrible food quality. Never again 👎🏽

The sushi was disgusting more rice than anything else. Had no flavor and tasted very old. Never again. Not to mention this place didn’t even provide any soy sauce.

I've been coming here from time to time for take out only.
I'm a big Sushi person, always looking to try new places, now this restaurant is decent but it could be a lot better.
Starting off with the staff , not the most friendly, the other thing is that the nickel and dime you for anything extra .
For the most part , Sushi restaurants give you sauces included with your meal , but not here .
If you want spicy mayo, eel sauce etc, you're going to have to pay, which is a big turn off.
I hope they reconsider in the future.

I always eat here and tonight I ordered like usual but I thought they closed at 930. Turns out they closed at at 9 and they still made my food very delicious and fresh. Thank you! 🙏

I came here with friends to do some business, and I found this restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, the taste is good, it's very nice, and it's worth it.

Food was super fresh. It is kind of fast food. Miso soup was one of the best I ever had. Edamame was done right.

when you order Japanese food, you expect Japanese soy sauce. what I got was Chinese soy sauce. Chinese soy sauce is ok on Chinese food.
Japanese soy is made for more delicate food.
so I got soy sauce not appropriate to the food. like taking a flavor hammer to delicate food.
on top of that they messed up the order. I think the shrimp was off. made me sick.
