HIBACHI EXPRESS WINTER HAVEN

This place has gone way downhill! Starting with the cashier in front all the way to the back end with food quality. I would not recommend this place anymore, even though it used to be one of our favorite places to go to.

My husband and I visited Hibachi Express and were very disappointed with the service. The cashier was rude, cold, and completely unfriendly. She seemed disinterested and made no effort to help us. It was difficult to communicate with her, and she acted like she didn’t care to understand anything we were saying. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression. We won’t be returning.

Super delicious food and it was served quickly. What’s best is that the price is ridiculously cheap!! A hidden gem that you must try if you pass by the area!!

Edit: Haven't eaten here in a while, this place has a lot of food safety violations.

This place this a little better than traditional Chinese take out.

Ordered take out, I wanted two party trays one steak and one chicken. They lady on the phone didn't understand me. Even tried to explain it because she rang up something different before hand. Kinda frustrating, salad was okay at best. Chicken and steak where good. Really just disappointed with the communication break down. Everything in total cost $70. Fed 6ish people. Usually get two trays and it will feed 11 no problem.

Great customer service was greeted by a young female unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she was excellent, even gave me a compliment on my beachwear. My Husband trying to figure out what time Publix close and she pulled out her phone and googled it right for us. She was super sweet and very informative. Definitely will be back and probably will host one of my networking events here. GREAT SERVICE AND DELICIOUS FOOD 🍱

The low score is due to finding out the owners keep ALL of the credit card tips (illegal in FL). The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great as usual with a really nice spice to it. The overall atmosphere has is a bit of a plain appearance, but was clran.

Ordered steak and chicken and received steak and shrimp. Shrimp was really good though but the steak I was not impressed, was tough and chewy.

If I could give a 0, that would be more than what this place should get. The food was awful and so was the service. I would not recommend anyone to go there!

Chicken hibachi was delicious. Steak was a little tough. Sushi was delicious. Highly recommend!

I love this place!!!
My favorite dish here is the Katsu Chicken, as a sides I recommend the noodles or Gyoza. Gyoza is delicious steamed!

Let me tell you something this place right here is it I have 5 other people with me when we eat 4 are kids and trying something new is difficult with 4 kids but this is the place right in between Lego land and the Legoland Beach resort so perfect location if you have littles but don't want to eat an expensive meal at the park nice seating super clean bathrooms and when I say the food was amazing I mean I have eaten up and down the east cost from fresh main lobster and Boston clam chowder all the way down to the FL keys and this place was it we had 6 people eating at 8pm on a Friday night and had comfortable booth seats the food came out so fast and if you are afraid of ur kids not wanting it they have chicken nuggets and Fry's while we hade steak hibachi 1 had chicken hibachi and I had steak and shrimp hibachi we also had a order of cucumber rolls and avocado rolls and man they were fresh we also got dumplings and 2 orders of the chicken nuggets and Fry's . Now the staff was over the top when I tell you the kindness and family friendly vibe we received with the 2 wonderful women working at the front counter Mini & Samira I have never seen 2 people multitask and get it so perfectly right at the same time I could not believe the kindness of these people and the portion sizes reminded me of being back home in South Carolina were as I'm 6ft 4 and 290lbs and could not finish all my food. If we go out to eat as a family of 6 I don't expect to pay less than a 125$ but with all are food and drinks it was about 90$ I like my food to have flavor and seasonings and this did not disappoint I only wish I had ordered more shrimp because it was amazing absolutely best shrimp I have ever had. Not to the wise they do cook there stake medium well so if you like it done differently make sure you ask at the time of ordering. My only regret is I wish this place was closer to my house great job who ever is running this place because you are crushing it keep doing what ever t is ur doing sorry I don't get picks of the food from the first bit we couldn't put are forks and chopsticks down it was good thank you.

The SLITHER of salmon they give and the amount of steak they give for FULL PRICE is laughable. I've included pics. Never again. It tasted good, but not worth it for this particular plate.

placed an online order like we normally do only to receive a call from the restaurant asking if we plan on paying for our food...

backstory: last time we placed an order my husband picked it up, he was handed the food and told to have a nice night. i noticed i had a voicemail from the restaurant 2 days after stating we never paid when the order was picked up. another voicemail was left stating not to worry about payment as they accepted fault for not verifying prior to handing over the food.

my husband was under the impression i had paid online and further assumed that when payment wasn't mentioned at time of pickup. we order from here regularly and love the food but feel very disrespected after receiving this most recent call. ended up calling the restaurant and having them cancel tonight's order. likely won't be back.
