I want to give a shout out to Gerald. Our crowd was at Hurricanes Tuesday and we had a birthday party. Gerald was our server and he was great and very patient with all of us. The food was perfect and the staff was very nice. Thank you so much for making my birthday perfect

Great overall experience. We went during lunch time during the week. Not too busy. Service was pleasant no matter who was attending to us. Food from all 3 of our plates was good. It tasted fresh and was nice & hot. I don't see my chicken sandwich on the online menu to tell you what I had but I've attached a picture of it. It has avocado on it. I'd go back!

Had bone in and boneless wings first time here as just moved nearby. They had no taste at all mainly just grease taste no need to go back but was worth a try. Service and cleanliness was great but food was not very disappointed.

Order from here about 2 times now. I first had their Philly and it was delicious. The steak was nice and tender just the right amount of peppers. Definitely my new favorite Philly in the area. I then ordered and had their Steak Tacos. I’ll keep it simple. The Best Tacos I Have Ever Had!!! Hurricane grill cooks really well. All of their food has been delicious. They also have a huge menu which is another big plus. Let me not forget to mention their street corn is magnificent.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hurricane Grill for years, but this was my first (and last) time visiting the Winter Haven location — and “disappointing” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
To start, parking was a hassle, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere inside felt more like a funeral than a lively grill and bar, completely lacking energy or welcoming vibes. Unfortunately, the service matched — once our food and drinks were dropped off, the waitress disappeared and was nowhere to be found for the rest of our visit.
The food was an absolute letdown across the board. My daughter ordered the kids’ mac and cheese and received what was clearly Kraft mac and cheese, paired with mushy, overcooked broccoli. My husband got the mushroom Swiss burger, which looked great on the menu, but the patty was completely flavorless — the only thing he could taste was the Swiss cheese and mushrooms.
As for the wings — which are supposed to be a Hurricane specialty — they were a total failure. We ordered extra spicy and jerk rub, and both lacked any real flavor or heat. On top of that, the wings had a freezer-burned taste that made them inedible. A complete waste of chicken.
To make matters worse, this location doesn’t even have the signature sauce bar, which ruined the Parmesan fries experience. Instead of the usual flavorful Parmesan sauce, we got what tasted like plain melted butter.
This location does not live up to the Hurricane Grill standards I’ve come to expect. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
