We went yesterday to celebrate our sons birthday and we could not be happier that we chose La Garita. First the place is spotless which is very important to me. The food and service was outstanding. Authentic Puertorican food at a reasonable price. We can't wait to go back.
The food was DELICIOUS, the alcapurrias, the queso frito with guayana, the mofongo, the rice and pechuga. Will be back for sure. The service was excellent, the way your greeted and treated was amazing.
We were in the mood for mofongo, so we decided to stop in. After viewing the menu, we decided to get one mofongo and one trifongo and share. We also ordered an empanada, and it was delicious. Both of our dishes were moist and packed with flavor. They have a full bar and a great ambiance. Our server was polite and friendly.
