Initially I was hesitant looking at the menu because it's a small menu. In my opinion, I don't feel like they offer traditional soul food, more like home cooked meals. My idea of soul food is greens, yams, fried chicken, and etc. Those things are not on the menu.
We were seated quickly. Nice atmosphere and good vibes. Our waitress was extremely helpful and so patient. We ordered the baby back ribs with fries. I'm so picky about my ribs, and they were so tender. You get a whole rack of the baby back ribs. They were priced accurately, because you would spend about $20-25 if you purchased at a grocery store. The BBQ sauce was the perfect combo with the ribs. The fries were crispy and good as well. The food was so delicious. I ordered an alcoholic beverage and it was 10/10. They offer happy hours, I'd definitely return for food and drinks.
Also ordered the blueberry pie and it was good. My favorite was the ice cream. It tasted homemade. Hope to see some peach cobbler, or apple pie added to the menu. It's a small menu, but quality. Overall good food, excellent service, and amazing drinks. I highly recommend.
