First trip to the quaint little place in Winter Haven. Staff welcomed each diner as if an old friend. Food was all perfectly served and flavors perfectly matched. We all had something different and not a single detractor. Will be back soon to try another item. Deserves a star

Nutwood is the hidden gem of Winter Haven. Tucked in Downtown Winter Haven, you find this beautiful, unique spot perfect for brunch or dinner. It's a nice place to bring your out-of-town family or celebrate.
The serving staff is well-equipped to answer your questions, which shows how much attention to detail the chef puts into this place.
My recommendation for brunch is chicken and waffles or a burger. As for dinner, we love any steak dish. But our friends rave about the chicken. We look forward to more meals here. Be sure to check out their end-of-year menus as well.

This place is under-rated. Great food. The atomosphere is chill and there is a nice selection of wine and beers. I highly recommend the braised short ribs and lamb pasta meal. Emari (not sure of spelling) was very helpful and prompt to serve us. We will be back!

My wife and I recently visited for the first time for our anniversary. Great professional, courteous, attentive and friendly service. After nice starters (Ricotta toast and Turkish dates), we enjoyed well prepared and presented entrees- market fish (corvina) and pork chop and topped it all off with desserts (warm caramel bread pudding and affogato). Looking forward to our next visit. Very nice outdoor patio seating area although we dined inside.
