Ovation Bistro & Bar, Winter Haven

Initially, the service was good... It was a while for Food when I came out it was lukewarm and the potatoes were cold. And it was a while after we received the server, and also the table we were sitting at was on a slight angle, and one of the glasses fell on the floor because of the perspiration, there was not a napkin underneath it... Seems like they were stretched in staffing

We had a wonderful experience here. They were out of the sirloin but the NY Strip was delicious. The sweet potato and garlic mashed potatoes were equally as good. Loved the Caesar salad. The Ovation AmberAle was so good

It was extremely cold in the room where they directly sat us under a vent. My fish was not good and my son didn't like the plain or the bbq wings. My mom and husband said the beef brisket was mushy.

We have never had a bad meal at Ovations. Staff, atmosphere, and specials are excellent! If you have never tried this place you need to add it to your bucket list. It won't disappoint.

Bar Restaurant, family friendly. We were very well served. We highly recommend their delicious variety menu.

Our server was nice but the food wasn't good. At least my meal wasn't. My pork chops were awful, I got the pineapple glazed pork chops and they weren't glazed with anything. Just a chunk of canned pineapple on top. The chops were super thin. The worst part was the bread. They gave us bread when we got there, we were given at roll for a sandwich. It had a slice in it for a sandwich. I think they just found it in the back somewhere It was stale and not even a warmed up. I was embarrassed after bringing my valentine here. I was so disappointed and won't be going back.

We had a reservation for 5:30. We had to wait 15 minutes fir a table. (Why take reservations?) We ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list, the server did not recognize it. The bartender, trying to be a sommelier, came to our table to tell us they didn't have that bottle. I picked another. when she served, rather than pouring an ounce or two for tasting, filled both glasses. I'm glad we liked the wine. The entrees were both very good. My wife and I made it an enjoyable meal. The staff needs better training.

The overall experience was good. The Caesar salad and the soup were very tasty. We ordered off the Tuesday menu and my husband and I shared our meals. The chicken was dry and the ribs were so much better with the extra sauce.

Izzy was our server and he did an amazing job. We came to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great time here. First time, but definitely we would come back.

Delicious food! Izzy is a great server, he gave better service than I've seen at many fancy upscale restaurants. Ovation is a great place for good ole American dining.

Erin was our server and goodness is she great! She handled our large party like it was nothing. Super impressed by her kindness and patience. At a time where she could have been overwhelmed, she handled it like it was a 2-top. 10/10 recommend. Oh! And the brisket was 200/10 I mean seriously some of the best brisket in Polk county!
