I’ve been coming to Richards since I was a kid, and it’s only gotten better with time. The owners don’t just make coffee, they make community. They care about the people they serve, the atmosphere they create, and the quality of every cup and pastry.
There’s a shop down the road that brags about having the “Best Coffee in the World,” and sure, it’s good. But I drive right past it every single day. Not because the price or quality isn’t there, but because they don’t care to know who they’re serving. Richards does, and that’s what makes all the difference.
Other coffee shops may move into the neighborhood, and I hear more are on the way, but none of them will ever hold a candle to Richards.
And if an entire tray of strawberry galettes ever mysteriously disappears? That was me. And I’m not sorry.

We are frequently vendors in Central Park for the Saturday Markets and often get our morning coffees from Jimmy and Koreem whom are the owners of Richard’s. Not only are the drinks fantastic but you cannot beat the welcoming and casual atmosphere they have created. We love Richard’s and highly recommend them for your coffee and pastry desires.
Absolutely Amazing Cuban Sandwich!
I'm not a big coffee drinker, but my daughter brought me a Cuban Sandwich today—and I have to say, it was the best I've ever had. The bread was perfect, the meat flavorful, and the balance of all the ingredients was spot on for an authentic Cuban Sandwich. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back. The staff were also very efficient and friendly, which made the experience even better!
Slow service. Food eh. Pastries are day old or more, and not home-made

Best coffee in town with library and seats outside
Traveled from Pensacola Florida to visit some friends and stumbled across this cute coffee shop/ bakery. 10/10 coffee and 10/10 pastries. Staff were welcoming and kind. Best coffee shop I’ve been to. Highly recommend. Hope to come back in the future.
This is a though one for me… been here multiple times and always had a decent coffee. Luckily for me, I don’t drink many milked drinks.
Let’s say that barista attention to basic handling and cleaning is just non existent. It is a beautiful slayer machine with never rinsed shot glasses, the steam wand is not wiped with crusty dried milk over… and the thermometer placed in the milk froth pitcher as crusty as the steam wand.
I know most people don’t pay attention to these details, but hard to ignore it for me!
Brewed coffee was good
In from OOT, this is one of the best nitro cold brew coffees I've ever had. Whatever chocolate flavoring they use is phenomenal. And the fact that they have skim milk is amazing because most coffee shops do not. My father had a tuna salad sandwich and it was outstanding, my husband loved his cinnamon roll and my son loved his croissant. I wish they would open in South Florida 😄
Recently visited with my sister we had a really nice experience our coffee was delicious.
