Richard's Fine Coffees

Me and my family have been coming to this establishment for years now. Their customer service is absolutely top tier. Every one of their employees is friendly and incredibly attentive and go the extra mile by remembering your name and you’re usual order. In a time when there are coffee shops on every corner they stand out. From locally sourced baked goods, to great ambiance with out door seating available , while maintaining monthly coffee menus that change with the season they guarantee that even when there is a line out the door you can expect the bar service to be efficient and your order to be ready in a timely manner. It is abundantly clear that the owners of this fine establishment truly do care. If I could give 10 stars I would. If you are in the Winter Haven area give it a try you won’t regret it!

Came here before hitting the road and the bagels were amazing. Fresh and flavor. Highly recommending the Asiago if you like a cheese base. The smoothies were terrible.

Asiago: 9/10 very good
Strawberry smoothie: 0/10 tasted like nesquik blended with ice
Mango smoothie: 1/10 like mango candy with sugar

Richard’s isn’t just about coffee and bagels, it’s about community. The owners and staff take pride in providing a space for people to gather and place priority on getting to know their patrons and their needs/desires. For years I haven’t had options for GF bites and Richard’s took note being the first coffee shop to provide options for those with dietary restriction’s.

Richard’s Fine Coffee is a hidden gem in Winter Haven. The coffee is always smooth and well made, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxed. Staff are friendly and genuinely care about what they’re serving. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

I got a bagel with mold on it. Please do not come here. Once I saw that I completely lost my appetite and didn’t even drink my coffee either. Will definitely be calling heath inspectors so they can conduct an investigation and hopefully close the place down.

Extremely disgusted and disappointed. I frequently visited Richard’s during my work week as it is extremely close to my job. I usually only get drinks but today I decided to get a plain blueberry bagel toasted. I ate the top with no problem when I get to the bottom I immediately spit it out because it had a foul taste, I looked and saw it was mold. I politely placed it in the bag and took it back where I pulled an employee to the side who went and got the owner. I wasn’t asking for a refund I was simply warning them to throw away the other blueberry bagels. I was very polite and quiet as the shop was full of people being that it was 11am. The owner proceeded to tell me that the bagels were not moldy she JUST bought them and that what I was seeing was in fact a “blueberry”. Just a little fyi for future customers. I wouldn’t have even posted this had she simply said thank you, I’ll take a look instead of gaslighting me.

I had an amazing experience at Richard’s Coffee in Winter Haven! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and heartfelt. The staff truly made me feel at home, and the customer service was outstanding.

A special shout-out to Anaya — she was incredibly kind, remembered me all the way from Tampa, and made my visit feel even more personal. The food was delicious, the vibe was amazing, and everything was fresh and full of flavor.

They’re open until 5 p.m., and I honestly recommend this place 100% to anyone looking for great food, great people, and a great experience. I absolutely love it here!
The owner Koreen is amazing as well.
