Decent atmosphere and food for a LegoLand restaurant. Spot in the back for the kids to play. Less crazy than the restaurants at the main hotel. The best part - our server JONATHAN! He made the meal! He was so attentive to everything we needed and so friendly! Ask to be in his section!!!
Food was decent but the online menu is totally different from what they offer in person. It was like false advertisement and the menu choices were not that great. Only ate there because it was the only restaurant there
A reservation is not needed at this restaurant as this resort on LegoLand is not as busy as the others. There is a great menu. They are very conscientious of food allergies and work with you to protect you. I was very impressed with this. The decor is pretty awesome. The restaurant is huge, and there is a nearby store inside the facility. There is an opening on the outside to order from the pool side, which is convenient. It is right near the front gate, and very convenient location. My son had the hot dog and fries and I had the seasonal pasta, which was amazing. The sweet tea was very good. Coke products.
Service was amazing. Alex was fantastic. Food was okay- breakfast was divine & Jonathan was the best server I've ever had. Breakfast food was so much better than dinner. Dinner was expensive for subpar food.
They closed the restaurant and never notified us. We showed up for our reservation with our two young kids and had no idea we wouldn't be able to eat. I understand things happen, but communication is key and we could have made other arrangements if we had known.
The seating took forever. Totally unorganized.

We're staying at the beach resort and came here for dinner on our first night. Very laid back environment, great food and a good play area. The pineapple upside down cake was phenomenal! Trying breakfast tomorrow. Will do a different review for that.
Update: after doing two breakfast runs, the first one was great but the second morning was not so great customer service. Had to wait for everything, drinks, food bill. So I guess it depends on the day of the week and server you get.

Went to the location 2 days in a row for the resort provided breakfast. I want to give a great thanks to Abigail and Jonathan.Abigail was wonderful as she had the same name as my wife and daughter! What a coincidence. Abigail was very friendly and was prompt with any of our needl. Abigails run the world lol.Jonathan on day 2 was full of conversation and was extremely welcoming. We learned a lot about Winter Haven and the area from him. Jonathan made a great impression and is an asset to the location. I hope you get waited on by Jonathan. Jonathan alone is a reason to come back. He was attentive and was prompt with any of our needs. We will come back! Thank you Legoland and Sandy Castle Restaurant!!!

We went to Sandy's before we met friends who were staying there. They highly spoke of a waitress, Abigail K. so we went to eat. Abigail was an amazing server, smiled, courteous, and an amazing personality, which I have to say was wasted on the Sandy's restaurant, she needed to be in a fine dining establishment. It was empty, the drinks abysmal, the food over priced for how disgusting it was. First of all I ordered a plate of nachos and chips, for $10, devoid of anything, so requested sour cream and guacamole, which Abby very graciously brought us on request. My husband ordered the MOJO grilled chicken for $20, which was best described as mediocre, "blah, no taste" and certainly not worth $20. The experience was horrible, and unfortunately I won't divulge my friends who felt awful about our experience. All I can offer as advice to management is don't waste great server's, like Abigail, in a restaurant that clearly has nothing to offer.I would also like to add, that the drinks we ordered, a Pinot Grigio, served in a small plastic cup, was definitely not worth it. And I went back to the bar for the cocktail my husband ordered, and was deliberately ignored, not even asked why I was there, and when I was acknowledged, and complained that the drink tasted as though it had no alcohol in, was given an attitude by the bartender!!! Please, no one needs this at that price!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of getting breakfast at a restaurant where JANIS provided exceptional service! Her attention to detail and warm personality truly made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this Breakfast and suggest requesting Janis as your server for a truly outstanding dining experience!

Terrible foodTerrible serviceOne star for nice kids area
Are there twice for the breakfast buffet. Extremely busy and crowded. It's not actually a breakfast buffet! The server brought a platter to our table, as my family has varying dietary needs I asked for other things that were not on the standard buffet and our server was so visibly frustrated every time I asked him to get something. I would have loved to have gotten it myself but like I said it's not a buffet your server has to bring every single thing to you whether that is jelly, ketchup, sugar, tea, etc. The next day I ordered to go so I wouldn't have to deal with it an overstressed overworked server and they forgot close to half of what I asked for up front. I just felt like I was bothering everybody. If it's their design that it's not a buffet and you're still tipping the server, the server shouldn't roll their eyes at you when you ask for jelly to put on your biscuit or what kind of cereals they have for your kid.
