We have used Sonny's catering for past events and have been pleased with the service. This is our 2nd year for our company Christmas party. I did like the ease-of-use ordering online; however, I did not realize that you had to request the setup & serve. Chris (our delivery driver) was in constant communication with me throughout the day and arranged this option for me last minute. He arrived early and setup an aesthetically pleasing spread, even better than the prior year. Hoping he is still around next Christmas as I will specifically request, he oversee it again. We appreciate how accommodating he was and seemed to enjoy his job, unlike a lot of other employees overworked and unappreciated this time of year. Good job Sonny's!

Ate dinner at the Winter Haven location this past Sunday. The restaurant was busy but the servers had everything under control. We discovered Sonny’s had changed their menu. Do not like the new “Mystery” menu. Not laid out well and presents too many unknowns. The food was good , had baby back ribs with sides, however the ribs were small. Not as meaty as in previous visits. I’d be willing to pay a couple of bucks more for meatier ribs.

I had an excellent experience at Sonny’s Barbecue thanks to Jennifer, my waitress. She greeted me warmly right at the door, which made me feel welcome from the start. My order arrived quickly, and throughout the meal, Jennifer was very friendly and attentive. Her outstanding service truly enhanced my visit, and I highly recommend asking for her when you go!

Hannah was awesome she was friendly and personable. She noticed there was a sauce missing on our table and went to the back to get us a new one. The service was everything I expected. Hannah is a great waitress and I will ask for her in the future.
We came in today as a party of 11 and everyone was great about getting us seated quickly. Our server, Sadie was wonderful and helpful. We truly appreciate all she did for us!

The food was good, there was no bbq or sauce that came with the family meals (pick 4). The brisket was not dry per say but close to it. A few ppl asked if it came with BBQ sauce or something and after emptying all the bags and boxes there was none to provide them. The sliced turkey & pork was delicious, we were expected sliced chicken as well but instead we got chicken quarters which was fine just unexpected. The sides were small, definitely NOT enough to serve 6-8 ppl. We basically had to spread them to everyone like a tablespoon each side. No one was a fan of the Mac & cheese, however the coleslaw, broccoli, baked beans & garlic bread / cornbread & sweet potatoes were good.
