Love fishing here
Very beautiful and peaceful
Great place to take a nice walk or fish.
Went for a 6 mile run here and had a great experience. The trail is peaceful well maintained, and perfect for getting some miles in. Plenty of shade, nice scenery by the lake, and not too crowded. Definitely recommend for anyone that is looking to run, walk or just enjoy sometime outdoors

Nice park, but very small. Sometimes a lot of birds. With a bit of luck and good weather, beautiful reflections in the water. Count on a maximum of 30 minutes of visiting time.
Good place to catch a morning walk. Paved, track like in some aspects, there's alot of wild rabbits here which is amaze to see them just hopping around during your walk. There's a part with a wooden walking bridge by the pond that where we saw alot of the rabbits...good for a quick walk.

Definitely worth the sunset!!!
South Lake Howard Nature Park is always clean and never overcrowded. There are some balance beams and other bars you can use for working out. The bridge runs from the parking lot to the far end of the trail, with a small fishing pier near the middle of the lake. There are a lot of rabbits, squirrels and birds. I haven't seen any gators yet. The train also runs behind the back part and it's pretty loud if you're close.
Yes it's a beautiful park to go to. But we need improvement on keeping some areas of it. Maintain and clean we can do better.
Honestly I'm quite disappointed in the maintenance of this park. Hope we can see it resolved soon.
