We were so excited about this cake company at first — scheduling our tasting was quick and easy, the cake was amazing, and the owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel confident about working with them.

However, she said she’d follow up within two weeks with sketches and a recap so we could move forward with a contract. It’s now been over four weeks with no communication at all — no email, no update, nothing.

After several disappointing experiences with other wedding vendors, we were really hoping this one would be different. But if a business can’t follow through on a simple promise to send an email, how can we trust them to deliver something as important as our wedding cake?

We’re truly disappointed and want to caution others who value communication and reliability to look elsewhere.

They were very responsive and helped me to create a master piece for my wife on her birthday. The cake and cupcakes were not only decorated nicely but also tasted just at good as they looked.

5 out of 5 stars in all categories. I order a customized cake from Sugar & Slice for the first time. At first I was a little worried because we’ve always been a public cake family. But Sugar & Slice did not disappoint. I ordered a sugar free orange cream cake for my dad’s 60th due to him having diabetes. He’s not much of a cake person but he absolutely loved it and was impressed with the fact it was sugar free and you couldn’t taste the difference. I will definitely be ordering all my cakes from Sugar & Slice. Thank you for helping me make my dad’s 60th birthday one for the books. We shared some with the workers at the restaurant and they all came asking where it came from. When it comes to finding a small business for a cake, look no further than Sugar & Slice. You won’t be disappointed.

I live out of state (NJ) and called this bakery, once researching reviews. I was absolutely blown away by the staffs incredible customer service. The owner, Tim, was incredibly helpful and the birthday girl still hasn’t stopped raving about the quality, flavor profile and how most and delicious the cake is. I am beyond satisfied with my experience.

This was my first time getting a custom made cake. My cake turned out really cute. They gave me exactly what i asked for and process was very quick and easy. The ladies in the front were also very polite and friendly. 🥰

We stopped in and bought some cupcakes. As a last second purchase, we bought a butter cake and ate it once we got outside the door. We took about 10 steps turned around and walked back and bought two more. They were delicious. Everything is delicious. They know what they’re doing.

Oh where to begin! Tim and crew catered the absolute hell out of our dessert table for our wedding last weekend. From start to finish everything was an absolute breeze and joy amid hectic wedding planning times (if you know you know). He worked with us on the exact flavors we wanted and along with his own tasty concoctions, compliments were flooding in all night long. From the s’mores brownies to the cookies and cream cake shots to our bride and groom chocolate covered strawberries, and everything between was all absolutely divine! Thank you again guys for making our perfect day that much sweeter! And the red velvet brownies…… sweet baby Jesus

I ordered a cake for a family member and it was phenomenal! Everyone enjoyed the strawberry flavor. We were even able to schedule a tasting beforehand. The communication was perfect and everything worked out nicely.

Absolutely beautiful red velvet, chocolate filled graduation cake for my son graduating from Lake Gibson and headed to Brewton Parker! So moist and delicious! Kindest, most accommodating staff and thankful for the quick turnaround! 10/10
