Cupcakes are good. Just left the bakery with two iced cookies and I was told that they were baked today. When I went to eat the cookies, they were hard as rocks and the icing taste like plastic.Ended up throwing them away.

My husband and I had a cake testing for our wedding. Every cake flavor and icing was magnificent!! It was hard to choose on what we wanted. The owner came out and spoke to us, he was very friendly, helpful and kind. We scheduled them to make and deliver our wedding cake and they did as promised. Everyone loved and enjoyed the cake. I couldn’t have asked for anything better !! 10/10 recommend

All I can say is wow! I fancy myself to be a bit of a bakery snob and after trying a different bakery in downtown Winter Haven I found myself looking for a good one. I walked into Sugar and Slice at 4pm expecting there to not be much selection left but I was wrong there were plenty of treats to choose from! I got cupcakes, a half pound Rumchata cookie, a Rice Krispie treat and iced sugar cookie. All of them were delicious and I honestly can’t choose a favorite but the half pound cookie may have a slight lead. Service was super friendly and helpful, you can tell she loves her job and didn’t mind any questions on flavors. Great overall experience and I’ll definitely be back again!

My daughter likes strawberry cake. So when I was planning her birthday party, I was searching for bakeries that made strawberry cakes. I heard about Sugar & Slice Bakery.So I contacted them on line told them about the party theme & the type of cake I was looking for. Within no time the responded with cake sizes that would work for my party. The cost for each cake. Along with designs & decorating options.The cake was absolutely amazing from the decorations to the taste. Everyone loved it.The cake was super moist and tasted like strawberries. The frosting was great.The staff at Sugar & Slice Bakery are polite & extremely helpful. The always took the time to talk to me.I highly recommend Sugar & Slice Bakery.I will be using them again. I am also making plans to go back so I can try some of their goodies that they have available in their store.

Special thanks to Tim for working with me on a short notice! We will definitely be back! Oh and the cupcakes are the best if you’re just looking for a smaller bite.
Sugar & Slice did such a fantastic job with our wedding cake! They were able to make our wedding cake dream come true. The design was perfect and the cake was moist and delicious! Kristin and Tim were super sweet and provided a lot of great information when we were doing our tasting and the communication afterwards.
