Is this place open? The phone number doesn’t work

Everytime I call this place it is closed as they are cowering in the corner due to Covid. Many, many restaurants are open. Mask up, set the tables as needed to get open. You are losing a customer in me who loves your restaurant. But this inconsistent schedule because you are terrified of Covid when other restaurants are open is getting ridiculous.

Went with my daughter for our first tea party and it was fantastic. An all around fun experience.

Visit & Review: 13 March 2020. I was extremely impressed with the Twisted Teapot, and it is the best tea room I have visited in Florida. The Windsor Rose of Mount Dora and the Brambles of Naples both pale in comparison. The Twisted Teapot is Central Florida's answer to a high quality tea room usually found in England or France. What you initially notice is the beautiful and tasteful Neoclassical décore. It is elegantly furnished, and reminds me of the tea room on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles. Gold and crystal chandeliers illuminate the rooms adding to the natural light from the many large windows. Wooden Sheraton furniture contrasts against the light walls. The entire place is clean, inviting, and stylish.

Very lovely place to enjoy an afternoon. The tea sandwiches were delicious. The service could have been more attended, but she was new.

I enjoyed the Swan Tea, the most extravagant of the afternoon tea services, and it was amazing! The scone is delicious, pastries are succulent, and the finger sandwiches are tasty. The portion size was filling, and with a good varied assortment. However, I really enjoyed the tea the most. It was a loose leaf coconut vanilla black tea. It was smooth, creamy, and almost dessert-like. I absolutely loved that you were served a proper teacup and saucer. I'm a teacup connoisseur, and I noticed it was a Royal Albert teacup made of fine bone china. It was beautifully crafted with gilt edges. I was so impressed with the quality of the tea that I purchased 4 ounces at the front entrance. It was very reasonably priced, and since I drink loose tea at home I know it will provide at least 50 servings. I'm so excited to have a cup of the coconut vanilla tea at home this evening! Overall, if you want a tea room that adheres itself to a higher standard, then you must visit the Twisted Teapot. It is elegant, clean, well-priced, with filling proportions and friendly staff. I will definitely return here again. I intend to return again this month with friends because I cannot keep this hidden gem to myself. The world must know about this resplendent establishment.

We made a wrong turn and discovered this Gem! Had a Lovely afternoon. The staff were friendly, the featured Ice Tea of the day was amazing and the owner gave us a tour.

It was the best time I have had in a really long time . The atmosphere was excellent and so was the food and the service. Felt like a queen. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been to a number of lovely tea rooms both here and abroad but was pretty disappointed in The Twisted Teapot. Whilst the ambiance was nice enough, the food was a bit of a disappointment. I had the Swan Tea, which included a total of 4 tea sandwiches, a cup of soup, a scone, 5 tiny desserts including a very nice pecan cookie, plus the “swan” which was virtually tasteless. Pretty to look at but I wouldn’t order it again. Another in out party had the roast beef sandwich and whilst the meat was the Boars Head brand they found it to have a section of gristle that should have been trimmed off as it made it difficult to eat and enjoy. The croissant it was served on was quite soggy as well. The horseradish sauce was not overly hit which was good! The Ham sandwich was quite good although there the croissant was also soggy. We most likely will not be heading back.

Atmosphere and service were great. It was a lovely lunch with girlfriends. Coconut vanilla tea was SO good. Disappointed that the quiche was very overcooked. Potato leek soup was wonderful and my friend's dishes lookedcrealky good too. Overall really enjoyed this place.

Loved it! We had a group of four and all ordered the Swan Tea. Excellent presentation and flavors. Extensive selection of tea and friendly staff.

I loved my first experience (delicious food), but when I came the second time, the owner and the hostess (who coughed all over the counters) were very unfriendly and disrespectful to us. We followed the guidelines and made reservations. Still waited an additional 20-30 minutes. Everyone else was seated right away while we were the only ones not seated. Unfortunately, we felt very racially discriminated against. I’m not one to say something like that, but it was very unpleasant. They need to learn how to be pleasant and customer-oriented even under pressure. Wait times are tolerable. Discrimination and rudeness are not.

I love the Twisted pot, always a fun place to go with the ladies for lunch. I had their chicken salad serve on lettuce. It was accompanied with they're famous potato salad. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was good as usual.
