“I purchased perogi from here for Christmas Eve. So glad when I called after Thanksgiving the lady on the phone said to place an order in advance. I picked up my order two days before Christmas. The perogi were very good and very reasonably priced! Plus they had a few of the items I needed for my polish Christmas Eve traditional dinner.“
“Fantastic lunch spot on Park Ave and very reasonably priced for the area. Was introduced to this place by a good friend for lunch and returned for a second try which was even better than the first. I ordered the classic salad which was full of fresh fruits like raspberry, blackberry, oranges, and strawberries, as well as a healthy portion of pecans and cheese. The flavors were refreshing and perfect. I asked about the soup of the day and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion and wonderful flavors of the Brunswick Stew. I would definitely order that again! Service is good, not great, but the food is fantastic. Charming location with lots of outdoor seating. Perfect for a quiet lunch in the area. Will definitely be returning soon!“
“We went there today.for lunch the Italian and meatballs sub were delicious and they were packed with alot of meat. The bread.was fresh and the desserts looked so tempting but Can't have sweets! we highly recommend you stop by there! We will definitely be back“
“I always tell this gentleman. He is the best Mediterranean chef to me. I love his food. It's so fresh. It's so delicious. He is the nicest respectful person. He calls everyone my friend and he is a always the same. I love this. 6, they are excellent.“
“I drive by this place on my way to work and was always curious about the food at this place. When you see the word "Deli" on the sign outside makes you think....."should I stop and check this Deli out"? I decided to listen to the voices in my head and man, I'm glad I did. Good, good stuff. They don't use cheap deli meats here. It is a Boars Head shop. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with ham and bacon. It was delicious. It had the right amount of meats, eggs and cheese. The bun was good quality as well. I no longer will make the regular stops at the big gas station for one of their cheap breakfast sandwiches for as long as this Deli is open. They also have salads, deserts and a few lunch options. Prices are reasonable for the quality of ingredients they use. It is located inside a convenience store in Edgewood, but don't let that scare you. Everyone in the shop was great and friendly. Oh! And you get a free cup of coffee with your sub! Give them a try!“
“Was is desperate need of a real new york style pastrami sandwich, so decided to make the 45 minute drive from Daytona to Longwood as there is no real deli in Daytona beach. Pickles is good not great but pretty good. I would put the pastrami and corned beef on par with Too Jays. The place is pretty cool inside with a full liquor bar. They also serve pizza and a myriad of other subs and desserts, there's something for everyone. It's a far drive so not sure I'd go back, but I would stop again if I was in the area.“
“The place is small sell spot tucked in the corner of obt. Owners were extremely welcoming and appreciative the travel we took to get there. Ordering was fairly easy and we waited roughly about 15 minutes for the freshly made chopped cheese. It was delicious! Thinly sliced but graciously spread on a warm soft loaf. The sauce was tangy and added the right flavors with the meat. Very filling! I ate half when I left and the other half before I went to bed. You can’t reheat everything! I must say- it was just as delicious as the first loaf I ate earlier. The price was reasonable for what I got. I highly recommend this spot and only wish they had fries to pair with the succulent sub.“
“Great place for bagels and bagel sandwiches! They are very generous with the filling, and their egg salad is done of the best ice ever had! Definitely recommend trying the egg salad sandwich on a bialy. Prices are reasonable. We just got delivery, so I can't speak for service. I'm going to visit in person soon!“
“We recently moved our office into the area and on moving day, we searched for restaurants nearby. I stumbled on your place online and we placed our orders, only to be pleasantly surprised that the food truck was merely blocks away. I tried to "customize" my sandwich with different bread, no cheese and no mustard. I don't know if my coworker forgot or they didn't make the edit but it came as it is on the menu. Hear me out...the Pastrami Project obviously knows better than I did and I was AMAZED. They have the only rye bread I have ever liked. Liked??? I LOVED IT. And the mustard? I sure have been missing out all of these years not having mustard on my sandwich. Or maybe it's just that The Pastrami Project knows just the right ingredients to put together for the PERFECT sandwich. GO. Get one. Ps, they did leave off the cheese for me. It was SO darn good that I forced myself to not eat the other half so that I could share that with MY other half. He also loved it, even cold! Again, get one. If you have had poor rye bread sandwiches in the past, try The Pastrami Project's! It's top notch. Is it Friday yet so we can go get another??? Dreamy!!!“
“My husband has brought home food from this place twice now. And omg everytime it feels like food from family! This time in particular he ordered a family pan and everything is so fragrant and tasty! I personally love the mixed Shawarma and the rice. My kids like it all but especially the pickles!Dietary restrictions: If you have a gluten sensitivity please mention it to the staff. As a Celiac myself they do a great job.“
“The service was amazing, everyone was so welcoming and the guy with the sideways hat was giving off immaculate vibes. I do have some notes tho. The location is quite old and had a long history, which can be seen in the ambience. Also, I checked several tables and most of em were sticky. Lastly, the sandwich was good, but I wish there was a toppings menu of some sort, with me having to rely on looking at others peoples orders to see what toppings they had available. Overrall, service was top tier, the food was good, but I feel some drastic improvements can be made with the facilities. I will be back cuz I am a big sucker for family businesses and good customer service.“
“I’ve been coming here for years…The sandwiches are amazing…staff just as amazing..Every time I come in or my family (they always recognize my family) it’s a warm welcome!Thank you for always making the best sandwiches & welcoming when we order.“
“Pretty good place to visit for lunch..I've only been twice so far. First I got the chicken Parm which I wasn't too thrilled for. Primarily because it's advertised as breaded chicken instead of grilled. It wasn't bad just not what I expected. The second time I got the cheese steak sandwich which was delicious.I definitely plan to visit again soon, the owners seem like very nice people and very friendly.“
“Wonderful place to stop for an affordable, healthy, high quality meal. It’s very apparent the owners and staff care, exceptionally clean restaurant, fresh top quality ingredients, friendly atmosphere. I don’t find myself downtown often, but I will heavily consider traveling a little further in the future to dine here again. It’s gems like this place that are far too rare in this world, cost much less than many other places for a sandwich, but felt like I was in a “$150+ a head” restaurant with the attention and care given by the workers.“
“Family owned, quaint restaurant with delicious food. They are the most kind people and cook authentically from the heart. Everything I’ve eaten here has been good, from breakfast to lunch, but my favorite dish is Chicken Diane. The chicken tikka is a strong contender as well. This place is a must try. And you can’t beat the customer service!“
