Garrett was phenomenal! He was attentive, funny, and a great story teller. The food was also amazing. We had the shrimp and grits, French toast, and dessert. We will definitely be back for Sunday brunch.
On Sunday 8/17 some friends and I had dinner at Hamilton's Kitchen. My experience was far from magical. I am vegetarian and ordered the one option available to me, the lion's mane mushroom steak. My friends' food came out first and then mine. I got a plate of vegetables and literally moved them aside to look for my steak. We called the waiter back (Robert, who was wonderful by the way). Wonderful dinner menu and a pleasant atmosphere. It’s a shame that the live music can only be heard in the bar — in the main dining area you can’t hear it at all, and I wish you could. The servers were very sweet. My risotto was too salty, but they brought me a new one almost right away, and it was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back.
