Tex-Mex Restaurants near Winter Springs

“So I’ve been to a different location of this restaurant before and I was beyond impressed with the amount of food the taste of the food and everything about it when I sat down and ate at the restaurant. Today, I ate at this location and got it to go, and let’s just say it definitely changed my opinion, there were maybe 10 chips in the box and the quesadilla that I got hardly had any meat at the end of the quesadilla. Now granted the food was fantastic and tasted great but the quesadilla was barely cooked and there definitely wasn’t much love put into it. I was very impressed with the other location, but this location definitely didn’t uphold the same standards… bummed … definitely not worth $12+Update. Kudos to the management staff I called in and expressed my concern just so that other people wouldn’t go through the same situation and the manager refunded me for the order so I will have to say Customer Service was definitely great following up a bad experience“

“We just walked in this place looking for some BIG TACOS. The place looks awesome and we were greeted with enthusiasm from a very charismatic young man who gave us suggestions and they were all on point. The Cajun chicken tacos were HOLY S@&T GOOD! “Bad day. The water main was broken so they had a very limited menu. Ordered steak which wasn't exactly good but ate most of it. Ten ounce sirloin which was about 40% fat and gristle. Wasn't exactly happy and I'm not usually one to complain. But our server was a great dude. Props to the older muscular guy.“

“I’m a regular and went to their Cinco De Mayo on Friday. It was a blast. Taco 🌮 eating contest , dj and live music plus mariachi band. Fun crowd and the monster trucks. People were dancing in the parking lot. It was amazing“

“Takeout order initially missing straw for drink, which was cheerfully provided on request. Disappointed in very thin foil wrapper for 'street-corn burrito', check with companies like 'High Tech Burrito' of Northern California, they have good foil wrappers which do not split apart at the slightest touch.

“The atmosphere is always fun and entertaining with friendly and quick service. My favorite is their chips and queso or their nachos that you can customize with cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato, queso, etc. However, if you don't like soggy chips and don't eat a lot, I recommend getting the queso on the side for the nachos. It's a rather large portion to eat by yourself. It would b better to share the nachos with a group as an appetizer, but I'm a rather picky eater, so I tend to get it for myself.“

“Love coming here. Everything is good, but I come strictly for the steak tacos ( perfect with The “don’t be chicken …. Hot sauce) and husband comes for the cheesy steak flautas. Soooooo good every single time.

“I’ve been down in the dumps and my friend take me to chilis to cheer me up. We are sat down immediately and politely. There I see the menu and BOOM 2 for one beers. My mood is lifted to the skies. Beer paired with my steak fajita what could be better? Go to chilis becuase not only for their amazing food and drinks. But when you enter your family.“

“Manager Eslava, the shrimp bowl is incredibly good, the shrimp taste better, like at the Grill, much better than the Tijuana in Winter Springs, be careful, it is not a criticism, I don't know if they are the same ingredients, but here it is superior, thank you, thank you, we will be back soon“

“I visit the Tijuana Flats Longwood every Tuesday. Most of the time I am very satisfied with my order. Today I was not! Tacos were cold, Just about no cheese, no jalapeño peppers as ordered plus received jalapeño sauce instead of the habanero sauce I ordered. To top it off ordered queso and did not receive it. No more curbside pick up for me. I will now walk into restaurant and check my entire order before I leave. Very disappointed and my not leave a tip next time. Appeared to be totally confused today. Also no receipt so could not do survey.“

“This restaurant is efficiently run. The manager, Kim, knows her "stuff". She has trained her staff to be both professional and courteous. I feel like royalty when I visit on Taco Tuesdays.“

“Every single time I come here they seem to be under staffed and the person ringing up the food is also bagging up all the to-go’s and it’s 2024 everyone is getting food to go. I always wait in line to even order for more than 10 minutes watching the worker bag up food it’s very frustrating. The workers work very hard it’s not their fault just get more employees please!“

“Excellent vegan tofu bowl with both beans, some rice, all sautéed veggies, corn salsa, most raw veggies, topped with guac, pico, hot sauce on a bed of romaine. The absolute best meal. Soo good. “The staff at this location is always super friendly and nice, very prompt with help and even checks on the table asking about refills for drinks or chips. I've seen them handle huge rushes with lots of pickup and to go orders with amazing speed!“

“Came in for a taco salad and was told they didn’t have the outer shells anymore. The associate went out of his way to make one anyway and showed a level of customer service that is usually dead these days. I may come out of my way to come to this Moe’s from Sanford to get this kind of service!“
