I have been eating jd's since 2005 and since then I have tried countless other places I live an hour away in dawsonville but drive to jd's when I want bbq they are the best I've found in the southeast
We got our drinks then waited an hour to get our order taken. They never even came again. After waiting the hour, I heard a waitress bragging that today was an exceptionally slow Sunday.
I simply raised my hand, asked for the check for my mom's sweet tea, and asked to leave.

We just had lunch there and it was fab!!
I ordered the pork plate with hush puppies( not served a lot anymore at other places), fried okra and coleslaw and it was the best coleslaw I ever had!
Hubbie ordered the brisket plate and let me tell you, it was super juicy and flavourful, yummie!!
Hadyn was our server and she was quick, super friendly, we had a great time at JD's
