Well let me say the two waitresses was very professional an very helpful in every way. Anyone can make a mistake an I mean anyone so we had told them we had got 6 plates instead of 7. The owner comes out an he went to counting the plates including mine, so I’m saying sir don’t count mine cause I didn’t order with my clients. So he still proceeds to count mine anyway stating I don’t need y’all to count for me I can count🤷♀️. Like nobody had an attitude or anything an didnt apologize but it’s all good though. But the food was delicious just didn’t like his attitude

We thought the servings were very generous I had to meals out of my catfish (pictured) and they were prepared like I cook them at home. My wife’s grouper was on the strong side as if it could have been a little fresher. The young woman doing everything but the cooking was over whelmed but she kept everyone happy and everything under control while retaining a jovial demeanor the entire time. It was our first time there, it certainly will not be our last time there however. We have heard over and over how expensive it is; we found it very reasonable in the area of value for dollar spent. Great place, great food, real old south fish house vibe you just don’t find anymore. That means making do with ceiling fans in the dining area like when I was growing up. Nostalgia by the bucket full. You order in the market and they bring it out to you in the eating area. It is the kind of place you would not be really surprised to run into Jimmy Buffet. Well, that is if he wasn’t dead.
Parking: Parking is that of an old strip shopping center when busy parking could be a bit difficult I expect we were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was fine.
So tonight, my wife wanted fish for dinner. We thought about going out of town, but I suggested AFC based on the reviews from friends. It did not disappoint, although there was a small inconvenience AFC made it right. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. I got the Gator Po Boy and my wife got the Grouper after a mix-up. She is a very picky eater and, she also agreed that the food was fantastic. We will definitely start supporting AFC. Thanks again for the delicious food and fantastic customer service.
