“we decided to try it out last night. we were greeted promptly and politely. It was downhill from there. appetizer was decent, at best duck, bacon, and jam, on toasted bread. The entrees came out about 30 min later. we had a mid rare filet and the "special" with snapper. The fish was awful. It was as fishy as I've tasted. I eat fish a lot, being from PCB. I told the server it was extremely fishy, his response was "I'll let them know". the steak was maybe a 6 out of 10. We were the only people in there at 6:15 on a Friday night, if that says anything. Premium price for subpar food. We won't be back, and will definitely not recommend.”

“The atmosphere is always quite nice. However, I visited last night and left disappointed and displeased. As usual, the food was delicious, but the service lacked approval. We received our appetizers after our entrees, and my tea came after the appetizers. Tbh, I felt shunned and irrelevant. We served after 2 couples who arrived after us, which is probably because they had an efficient server. It was the first time I didn't tip in years. S/O to the server who was helping the other couples. She checked on the appetizers. SMH”

“First hand the atmosphere is ok. Ordered a top shelf margarita that was mostly lime juice, was not good all Our waitress Taylor took the drink off for us. I tried the sea scallops and they were cooked decently. I also had the blackened shrimp and it felt lacking as there were only 6 large shrimp(felt like an appetizer dish instead of a 2 meat meal). The chipotle Gouda grits were good as I like spicy things and the mashed potatoes were good. My wife’s grouper tasted ok and looked smaller than what you would have expected. This was our 2nd attempt at the catch and while I say I would recommend I recommend them once a year or once every 6 months.”

“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“One of my FAVORITE places to get sushi (especially deep fried). Everything is so good that I had to start a ranking on my phone of my top sushi dishes. The adult beverages are very reasonable and good. I love when Jay is our server. I have never had a server that was not pleasant. Just a fyi gratuity is added automatically for 2+ people. I have tons of sushi pics but below is the Tsunami and Vegas rolls”

“Not bad at all......My appointment was for 10:30 pm I check in by 12 pm and the girl on front told me that they could load me around 7:00 pm, either way she check me in and let me park inside and by 3 they give me a dock and out by 4:30 pm...Great job.. free accurate scale on site so I give them 5 stars...also I noticed that even is some bad reviews they move fast from 12 pm to 4:30 pm I saw more than 25 trucks get loaded and out .....cool ppl, plenty space and good communication....”

“We eat here once a week. The queso fundido and the Fajitas Molcajate are better than anyone. They have some of the best home made salsas that are very hot/spicy! Be sure to add 2 or 3 Victoria Cerveceria Modelo's to cool yourself down. I give it 5 stars every time. The Mr. Carson burrito is also amazing.”

“This place is a hidden gem. Do not underestimate the quality meal that you receive, very tasty and beautiful. They make their own dressings, along with plenty to choose from on their menu. The vibe when you walk in is warm and welcoming by a business led by women. Excellent spot!”

I had the volcano shrimp and chicken/rice soup. Great flavors that really compliment each other and beautifully plated. Honestly would have been five stars if I hadn't had to pull off the tails myself. Casual atmosphere. Some seats are uncomfortable and there are certain tables/bathroom stalls that are being held together by duct tape??? Food and service make up for it though. This is one of my favorite places in Albany.”

“Food was very good. Wife got lasagna and I got soup and salad. The salad was very generous. The lasagna and soup was excellent. The soup bowls were filled higher than I have ever seen. I got three of the 4 soups, each one was very good . Service was good but very hasty. Would be nice if server was a little more relaxed. The rush hour was finishing up and was still under some pressure but even at that it's hard for the customer to relax when the server is wound up.

“I had to go dairy free recently and have had the hardest time finding a real meal! I walked into My Pie Pizza and my family ordered their meal, when it was my turn I said to the lady at the counter my pizza has to be dairy free and without even having to ask she changed her gloves so she wouldn’t cross contaminate my meal. She answered every question I had and was so sympathetic. At the end I said “ you wouldn’t happen to have a dairy free dessert?” Guys!!! She had a dairy free brownie!! I haven’t enjoyed eating out this much since going dairy free. Excellent service and full bellies. We will definitely be back!!”

“This place is a god send, we are friends with one of the waitresses that works here (Jessica Inlow) and we haven't been here in a while and we were just catching up with her and I told her about how the last few weeks has just been terrible, my mother died, a tree tore our house in half, my car broke down, etc...

Her and the owner got together and gave us top notch treatment for our family because of the holiday season and all of the turmoil we've gone through

I was pleasantly surprised to see them frequently refreshing the buffet despite only having a few guests in house while we were there. I was not overly impressed with the food on the buffet, but primarily because my favorite items weren't on the menu. (I'm a picky eater. Perhaps they have them on busier days). I was sadly unimpressed with the egg rolls and spring rolls, but the Chinese donut that I ended the meal with was perfectly crispy, soft, warm and delicious. Overall great value, excellent attentive service and fresh food.”

I asked him what this was for and he simply said don’t worry about it. It’s on the house. The girl who took my order didn’t tell the guy making the drinks so when I saw my target app tell me my order was a Trenta and grande I went to ask the barista (a blonde guy) he thought I did a mobile order and anyways after a bit of back n forth he realized and started making my drink. This is the type of place you would drive by and ignore but look at all the cars parked outside, they're there for a reason. I've seen Ronnie pull ribs right off the smoker and bring them inside to serve. You can go to the chain restaurants in Albany but this place has the best tasting barbecue in town.”

“Good food mostly. Every once in a while the chicken will be fried too hard. Usually have to pull forward and wait if using the drive thru even though they aren't busy but that's because it's fresh and I don't mind. The manager is very friendly and runs a great store. I eat here twice a week for a reason.”
