“My only complaint is just finding out about this place! It was amazing! Even my children enjoyed it up until the last bite!! This is definitely a hidden in plain sight gem! Great customer service and great food. No way to go ”
“A local owned little town lunch buffet restaurant with Great fresh country cooking at its best. Local in season crop plus a whole lot more. A must stop and eat if riding thru Leesburg ”
“**Review: Rice Bowl - A Gastronomic Expedition Through China**Embarking on a culinary adventure at Rice Bowl in the heart of Albany, I was immediately embraced by a warm and hospitable atmosphere. Without the embellishment of traditional music or a formal menu, the focus shifted entirely to the tantalizing array of dishes awaiting exploration. The server, whose name escapes me, epitomized professionalism and genuine warmth. Despite the absence of a formal menu, they guided me through the buffet offerings with ease, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance at Rice Bowl, though simple, exuded an authentic charm. The absence of music allowed the vibrant chatter of diners to fill the space, creating a lively and convivial atmosphere. The decor, while understated, subtly captured the essence of Chinese culture, transporting diners to the bustling streets of Shanghai or the tranquil tea houses of Hangzhou. Now, let's delve into the highlight of the experience - the food. Rice Bowl's buffet presented a cornucopia of flavors from various regions of China, each dish meticulously prepared to showcase the diversity and richness of Chinese cuisine. From the succulent Chicken Skewers to the crispy Egg Rolls, every bite was a delightful revelation of flavor and texture.I had the pleasure of sampling an array of dishes during my visit, each one leaving a lasting impression. The Chicken Skewers, tender and bursting with savory goodness, were a true delight. The Egg Rolls, with their golden-brown exterior giving way to a flavorful medley of vegetables and tender meat, were equally satisfying. However, no dining experience is without its minor inconveniences, and at Rice Bowl, it was the presence of a few disruptive patrons that slightly marred the otherwise enjoyable ambiance. Despite this, the overall experience remained a testament to the culinary prowess of the establishment. In conclusion, Rice Bowl offers a gastronomic journey through China that is sure to captivate the senses. From the warm hospitality of the staff to the diverse array of flavors at the buffet, every aspect of the dining experience is thoughtfully crafted to ensure a memorable visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Rice Bowl to anyone seeking an authentic taste of China in the heart of Albany.”
“Best dog in and around Albany, GA hands-down! This business started downtown Albany and now has a restaurant on the left side of road off of US19 headed North. Been eating these dogs since 2003. If you’re looking for a great dog, great chili, great sides; give Jimmie’s a try. I highly recommend it!Vegetarian options: Go somewhere else ?Kid-friendliness: Family restaurantParking: Drive tru is best (drive around back of whole building), but facility is in retail strip center with plenty of parking.”
“The food was good, the workers were friendly and joking around. I just wish chick-fil-a offered vegetarian chicken nuggets. ?Update 12/14/23Chick-fil-a has gotten really expensive for what it is. $5 for yogurt?!? Be reasonable.”
“Food was great, service was great, the dining area was great. I had the brisket sandwich with onion rings, everyone else had the catfish basket. The brisket was fantastic.”
“Really friendly staff. Super dope pancakes. Link sausage is not breakfast links, it's smoked sausage and it's really good. Excellent prices. We will be back.Parking: Trucks, you'll have to park in the shopping center nearby but it's just a minute to walk over.”
“The food seems more fresh, the service is faster, and the dining area are Far better than the other 3 locations. The only negative point I have is that the Cashier over-charged me for my Chili Cheese Fries. I think it's bc she was new and didn't know how to charge for the 2 toppings on the fries included in my meal. So, she charged me for an Extra Chili-Chees Fry.This the ONLY discrepancy I've ever had at this location.I 100% recommend this location over the other 3...especially the Slappy Blvd location.”
“I love Hibachi Express. It’s a tough call between the steak and shrimp. I love them both. Great taste. I prefer to dine in because food is much better when it’s hot and not reheated. Generous portions of meat, veggies, and rice. Unless you’re ready to pig out, you’ll need a go box”
“Food was AWESOME. Cooks name was Will. Waitress was ok. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The cook immediately went to work on our order, then started stocking his area while we ate. Waitress sat at little bar area behind us, hitting her Vape ( sign on door says no smoking including vapes) while loudly listening & watching her phone as we waited on our food and while were eating. That's the only reason I didn't give a higher rating.”
“Great location and even better food! Smoked chicken plate is my go to and it's never let me down! Defenitly recommend.. Oh and the drive thru is the fastest I've ever used. Great job!”
“The service attendant is talking with someone on phone very loudly while taking my order at drive through and then while he is taking my money and hanging out window with my food! I hear him screaming inside. Granted no one is inside thank goodness.NOTHING PROFESSIONAL. DOESNT MATTER IF FOOD WAS GOOD OR NOT.”
“My girlfriend and I just moved to the Albany area and we’re in search of some good fried chicken. Needless to say we found it at Carters. We got chicken, Mac, mashed potatoes w gravy, and potato salad. To top it off we ordered bananas pudding. This chicken tastes like somebody’s auntie fired it up after church, it doesn’t get anymore homegrown than this. We will be back and I recommend it to anyone. Staff was friendly and chicken was fresh.”
“Me and My Wife come here quite often now.Best sushi spot in the Albany/Lee County area.Food is always super fresh. The cashier and server are always extremely nice.If your look for a good suggestion try the Blue Heaven (for a great shrimp tempura) and Fusion Roll for a great raw option Thank me later”
“This is my families and I's favorite Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend their food and also check out their new special menu. They recently expanded and have a full bar now as well. The servers are nice and very attentive.”
