I been here two times in the last month and spent over 100 both times because the food and service was absolutely amazing! The drinks and food looks exactly like the menu!! The mixed drinks are perfect and I think it’s wonderful how family friendly it is!! Deff a new awesome spot to eat at (: love -Brittany!
The customer service was absolutely terrible! My family and I (a party of four) went in for dinner, and while everything started fine with ordering our entrées and drinks, things quickly went downhill. When the food arrived, my son took one bite of his meal and immediately didn’t like it. We explained this to two different servers, and eventually the owner/manager, Mr. Alvarez, came over to the table.

My family was well taken care of this evening! Service and food get a solid 10/10! We got Birria style quesadillas and when I say they were good man I mean it 100%!!

Based on the reviews, San Joe’s Cantina Grill is a peaceful and quiet Mexican restaurant in town. The food is great and diverse, with texmex and some more authentic style options. The drinks and food look exactly like the menu, and the mixed drinks are perfect. Some food, like the tacos, was dry and bland. The service can be absolutely amazing, with fresh food and great customer service. One server, Jessica, was a great server who exceeded all expectations. Other employees also asked if everything was ok. It is a family friendly spot. However, there are concerns. The restaurant automatically charges a 20 percent gratuity to a two person dine in check with no signage on this policy. Also, one reviewer had a negative experience with a manager who was unhelpful when a car broke down. Another reviewer noted a sign asking those who smell like pot to not come inside.
