We came for the crab special and it was delicious. Besides that, Lisa Pickle is the reason it was such a great experience! She is the best waitress I have ever had in my life (and kelly). Definitely go amd ask for Lisa!
Towards the end of our meal, we could not locate our server. Got our own to go plates and had to find someone to ask for our $127 bill! Ridiculous!
Food was great and the staff were amazing!! Very attentive and hospitable, I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door!!

AJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar offers delicious meals with great service. The restaurant accommodates special needs, such as curbside pickup for those with mobility issues. Despite being busy, the staff ensures prompt attention to customers. The food is fabulous, and the non-smoking area is well-separated from the smoking section. While not ideal for kids due to smoking indoors, the non-smoking side is available, albeit small. Overall, AJ's is a great spot with affordable food and a unique atmosphere, including customer-controlled music. Parking is available, although limited.
The restaurant has two entry doors, one for smokers and one for non-smokers. Customers can enjoy a reasonably priced fried seafood platter with a good portion of fresh, beach-quality seafood. The non-smoking side is small, and the smoke can sometimes enter from the smoking room, but customers can sit further away from the doors to avoid this. The seafood is exceptional, and the service is great. AJ's offers a pub-like setting, ideal for those who enjoy good fried seafood, slaw, grits, and hush puppies. The restaurant also serves smoked oysters, crab legs, and frog legs, all of which are highly recommended.
