Omg this place is amazing!!! I go every week! The oxtails is my favorite. Really everything has flavor that anyone would enjoy. I tried the fruit salad today. I have to say it’s a 10-10. Absolutely love this place and I'm so glad there's a Dominican restaurant here, just what Albany needs, some SAZON!!! Everything is cooked to perfect. Their tres leches cake is bomb as heck. All the employees are super sweet and attentive. Being in the restaurant makes me miss DR but it's literally the closest thing to it out here, in Georgia in general. The vibes are just so chill and the food is so authentic. Shoutout to the owner, he's awesome! This will always be our go to place for as long as we live here in the 229!

I had El Caribe for the first time today. I hate I did not have my cellphone to show how good my food look. I ordered the bbq ribs, plaintains, peas & rice and a jalenpena/cheese/beef apanada.VERY GOOD!! WILL BE BACK

I love this place! The food is DELICIOUS!! They have so many great dishes. If I want something quick, I love to have some Empanadas. They have lots of different fillings. The stewed pork is my favorite plate with rice. I also love to get the mofongo with pork. It takes a little longer for them to cook it, but it's worth the wait!! They let you have of taste of something if you want first. Incredibly friendly staff. We come here once a week! One of my favorites!

Conveniently located for visitors and locals alike, directly across from the Days Inn on Oglethorpe Blvd. I splurged a bit (YOLO ) and got half & half, stewed chicken and stewed oxtails with rice. I LOVE oxtails so it was nice to try them with a Latin kick. Make sure you try the passion fruit juice too..soooo good. The fresh fruit smoothies and empanadas are really good too. If you're on the fence about trying them out, you're in luck as they offer FREE SAMPLES EVERYDAY.
