This used to be a decent place, as usual once anything has been in Albany for any length of time it starts going down hill. Customer service is lacking in every way. Avoid this place unless you want to deal with trifling people.

Since before moving and relocating to a new area, Cook Out was my favorite. I remember first discovering this business years ago and the hype about it mine personally has always been the large variety of different types of foods, I.e burgers, tacos, hot dogs, pork, bbq, chicken appetizers etc. to add to that there’s various versions of each item (5 types of burgers). The prices were so reasonable and now, well at this cookout that is not the case. I’m sure they’ve had to change some prices but this is a double or more in my usual ticket. Wait times aren’t great but the staff is very prompt and hasn’t made any errors so far I can remember. I wish the portions and prices hadn’t went up and the hours went down. No longer the same. I get lunch dinner milkshakes and drive through as well as dine in because usually that’s faster than the drive through here

The food at Cook Out is usually always good! However, there have been at least a couple of time when we have ordered the cheese bites and only got 4-5 pieces. The service isn't so great usually. The worst thing about eating inside is how that sometimes the place will smell like weed and the floors are slick from grease where the employees will "mop" the floor and spread the grease around. People I know have almost fallen.

Smelled like Marijuana as soon as walked in, then complained cause I had a big order for 8 people. Food was just thrown together and I ordered onion rings and I got 3. This was terrible experience.

The shakes are delicious but the sizes are too small and could be much bigger.

I brought my team (7 young ladies) here to eat after match play today, and in an empty restaurant my coaching staff was ignored and their orders were never taken after my ladies ordered. 4:10pm arrival time 4:36pm. I was asked if I would like to order as my team was exiting with their food. No thanks!!!

We stopped in to visit my Dad & decided to eat out for lunch. I wanted Zalia’s should food, but they were closed !So, Cool Out was next on the list.I’m glad the other was closed !!I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich (employee favorite suggested). I had it with hush puppies & coleslaw !Good stuff. I ended up getting a Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake, which was also delicious. Our cashier had the best attitude !!

How hard is it to read the order? I order bacon on my double burger and get a single burger with only ketchup ?

My first impressions are do not eat here, the staff are very rude. Firstly, I’d like to say I’ve never been to this restaurant before. I came for a late night snack as there is nothing else open. I use the drive-through and I looked at the menu and I had stated to the female that had answered the menu board that I have never been here. What do you think is good. She ignored the three times I’ve asked this question so then I just began to order cluelessly to what was good at this location. She was very rude and quick on the menu board. I ordered a hamburger and she said how do you want it? I was clueless to what she meant by this so I said well done? She then ignored that and then I had to ask what do you mean by how do I want it when she gave me the answer she was also very rude, and seemed like she did not want to be there. I pulled up to the drive-through window where she was also very rude despite me using proper mannerisms such as thank you no ma’am yes ma’am, and all of the other mannerisms. The person at the drive-through window seemed like she was more interested in talking to her coworkers, then to providing good customer service.1/3/24 midnight

Sadly the overhang for drive-thru does more to cause water to enter cars and drive-thru window when it rains! 2 feet of coverage is worthless! Invest in adequate protection for employees and

I would usually give it 5 stars but this is the second time I've been there and my order was half fixed and the person at the window was not cordial. I ordered the shake and it was not a full cup like usual (2nd time this has happened). Then the girl at the window had an attitude. When I asked for receipt, she act like I was bothering her.
