Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It was definitely the worst service we've ever had at any Cracker Barrel. The waitress we had was really struggling to wait on the tables she had. Thankfully for her it was around 4:00 and not real busy. It took around 45 minutes to get our meal. My wife had onion pettles for an appetizer and they were brought out after our meal. The waitress was pouring lemonade in a to go cup and poured most of it on my shoe without even an apology. One of the managers served our food which was already cold. We had another waitress bring our to go boxes. We had yet another waitress actually bring our bill. We eat at Cracker Barrel pretty regularly but if this would have been our first, it would probably have been our last. No one ever offered a discount or other kind of restitution for the trouble and terrible service.

Service was extremely slow for 11 AM. Seemed as though the kitchen was behind. The kitchen needs to learn how to scramble eggs. Our server seemed distracted.

Usually I’ve had nothing but good experiences with CB but today was horrible.

I placed an order Friday night at 8:00pm for a pickup Sunday at 2:00pm for the Superbowl. We arrived at 1:45, let them know we were there, and anticipated a short wait.

There was no CB interaction with us until 2:15 when they came out to let me know they didn’t have sirloin tips. I was notably irritated, it took 30 minutes for them to find this out and inform us?

To add insult to injury, it took another 15 minutes to issue me a refund. In total I wasted 45 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

This was the single most incompetent experience I’ve ever had at a Cracker Barrel, but it will be a long time before I forget.

I have no love or like for CB, but my husband for whatever reason enjoys this place. I took him for some occasion FOR HIM.
I ordered a drink and mac/cheese. NOTHING MORE.
It was cold. My husband ordered a meal. It was not even warm, BUT he said, "It's good!"

I laughed and said, "Mine ain't even warm.

He wanted to go, so he got what he wished.

I had two bad experiences there. The first time the waitress was rude and food cold.i always thry to give places a second chance. We were sat at a dirty table. The waitress didn't say hello or anything just stood there till we ordered. She brought out our drinks in to go cups where everyone else in the restaurant had regular cups. Then the only things we wanted the new pot roast and Sheppards pie they were out of. Instead of letting us see the menus she just stood there and we ended up just getting the meat loaf. She brought out one of the meatloafs in a to go plate they were cold. I suffer with food contamination so when things are different than everyone around me i freak out. It was all around a bad experience.

Horrible experience. Didn't get half of our food. Blueberries had mold on them. Manager said they're was nothing she could do about any of it, nor removed the items we didn't get off of the ticket.

We arrived about 6:30pm sat unattended for about 15 minutes. Finally was waiting on. One member of our 3 party group ordered 4 different times before there was something available in the kitchen. His meal was comp’d by the manager. By the time he got his meal the other 2 in the party were completely done eating. This may have been the last time we visit this location.
