Feb, 7 2026, I decided to try a different Chinese restaurant because of a higher rating on Google. The food wasn't nearly as good/flavorful, the portion sizes were smaller and it cost more than my usual go to place for Chinese food in Albany. The hot & sour soup was bland with no evidence of spiciness. The combination fried rice and the shrimp fried rice was also flavorless with much less shrimp and other meats that I'm accustomed to. I noticed a few very small pieces of what appeared to be chicken, no pork, no beef in the combination fried rice. Lastly, the beef with broccoli did not come with rice and the broccoli was overcooked. And the egg rolls weren't crispy on the outside and were bland like everything else. At least I tried something different. But I highly doubt I will order from here again. My husband mentioned that the appearance was nicer.

Really good. We've tried a bunch of the hole-in-the-wall Chinese places in Albany, and we were glad to find this one. Very tasty food, well cooked rice, nice range of options, price is a little expensive but.. where isn't, nowadays?

I ordered the General Tso's chicken with rice and egg roll. It came as a combo.They are better than most of the places in Albany. I would visit again. I'm trying all the Chinese restaurants in town to see who is the best. They are pretty good and give lots of food.

A hidden gem in Albany. Great food kicked out by the same husband and wife duo for years. Everything I’ve had is great. Singapore mei fun is best in Albany and I challenge you to prove me wrong.
