The food was excellent. The ambiance of Mayberry was as well. Only issues were they seemed to be out of a couple menu items and (though we had a group of 8 or 9), it took a while from when the first person was served until the last person was served at our table. The minor issues were definitely outweighed by the delicious food and great customer service.

We absolutely fell in love with this place the first time we ever eat there. We were regulars there, for as long as we were in Albany. The girls knew us and they had gotten to know what we wanted, lol . We are big Andy Griffith fans, and we just loved the atmosphere there. It was like stepping back into time as soon as you walked through the door.Again, it was sad leaving, we loved it there. If you ever get a chance, and your passing through Albany GA, stopped by, you won't be disappointed.

Like being in Mayberry! High quality food, well made. Clean and friendly. Good prices too.
I got the veggie plate. Food was VERY bland. I got 2 inedible squash ends in my small casserole portion. Field peas were good. Even the watergate salad was blah. Husband said catfish was good, but dressing wasn't. I think we got was was supposed to be a mini drop biscuit, but was dry. I was excited for Granny type cooking and left very disappointed.

Have heard rave reviews over the years so I was very excited to go. I was immensely underwhelmed. The staff was warm and the cook actually came out to inquire about the food and how we liked it. I found the food to be run of the mill but maybe it was my choice that day( hamburger steak). My colleagues did say the meatloaf was good. I may give it a second chance later.
