My family and I have always enjoyed this restaurant, and it’s been one of our favorite spots for Mexican food in town. Unfortunately, our most recent visit completely changed that opinion.

We came in and waited a long time before our waitress even took our order, and throughout the entire meal we never once received a drink refill, nor did we get refills on chips or salsa. After nearly an hour of waiting, my food finally arrived and it was completely wrong. I had ordered my usual shrimp street tacos (soft corn tortillas with onions and cilantro), but was served hard shell tacos with lettuce and cheese instead. This was especially disappointing because I recently had wisdom teeth surgery and specifically ordered something soft that I could eat.

I told the server right away that my order was incorrect. He apologized and took it back to the kitchen. A manager then came over, and instead of listening to my concern professionally, she immediately told me, “We don’t have that here.” When I explained that I didn’t want anything at that point, she accused me of being “rude and disrespectful” while moving her hands aggressively close to my mother’s face across the table. This escalated the situation unnecessarily and upset my entire family.

Even after we asked for the bill and boxes so we could leave, the manager continued to stand at our table, making the experience more uncomfortable. We ultimately paid for food we never received, and her final “apology” still came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

Overall, what should have been a family meal turned into a very unpleasant experience. The lack of service, the incorrect order, and most of all, the manager’s unprofessional behavior made it clear we will not be returning.

Excellent customer service with dedicated hardworking staff that know how to treat their customers. The best tasting food ever i will give 100 stars if I can. Came all the way from Macon on a business trip and we all enjoyed our lunch.

The empanadas: the chicken was very dry and the dough had no seasoning.

The al pastor tacos: these were great.

The beef quesadilla: initially brought out cold.

Lastly, the gnats and flies were exceedingle troublesome.

Waitress was absolutely great. She was attentive, answered questions and very quick to come back if we had issues.

I never complain at restaurants ever. This food was inedible. This was by far the worst food/service that I have ever had in my entire life. It was honestly like a south park episode. Do not recommend.

Good food. Ask about the spicyness level of the sauces if you aren't normally in the mix.

How u gonna serve 7 mares and has nothing but fish and chipotle? Nada que ver. You might have these people fooled but as a Mexican American, this is an awful place to eat at. Your place might have people eating there cause they don’t know real Mexican food. So get your things together and move on.

It's been months since I last visited Mi Casa. The host seemed confused and kept us standing for few minutes. We were eventually seated in the back, where we found it extremely hot and notified the host but she never returned. Fortunately, our waitress was very sweet, she brought us chips and salsa. Also she managed to get the air conditioning turned on. However, we ended up waiting for over an hour for our food. Once the food arrived, we were already full from the chips & salsa and drinks . This experience reminded me why I stopped going . The restaurant was not busy. Unsure why the long wait. However, The food was good !

Worst experience ever. Given the wrong order which was sent back untouched and once given correct order was told had to pay for wrong order as well and once advised that wasn’t happening police were called. Still only paid for correct order but being the first time that made it the last time. Would never patronize this restaurant again.

I had my son’s rehearsal dinner catered by Mi Casa. Shelby was professional and easy to work with. She delivered the food hot and we had plenty!! It was so delicious and everyone raved about how good it was. I would highly recommend Mi Casa!!
