I stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Pro: location. Friendly staff. Passable breakfast. Refrigerator. Microwave. Cons: too many. Carpets were old and stained and in my room, perpetually wet. No bedbugs but there seemed to be a lot of bed lice! I counted 34 big bites all over my body. Housekeeping kept removing half empty shampoo conditioner and body lotion tubes and did not replace them. I went to the front desk twice to ask for refills. Toilet bowl too low, bathroom really old and tired looking. Did not realize they allowed pets and the dog across my room kept barking. Only 1 single trash can. Desk chair was too low for the desk. Not all lights were working. And please remember to wear slippers all the time in the room - carpet was gross!

Excellent service at the front desk. Helpful finding a place to park my large truck. Nice and clean and it smells good in the halls. View of the pool from my window. Nice size room with extra cubby corner. Lots of counter space. Comfy bed! .

This is not a bogus claim as the owner has stated. Run the cameras and you will see it all happening at your front desk Saturday morning. First I am not the main guest on the reservation l. I am giving them a 1 star because this room 108 has bed bugs. My friend and myself came down for ASU homecoming and we have stayed at this location a few years ago so we decided to book again. To see these rooms regularly go for 54 to be raised up another $30 and $40 is crazy price gouging at it’s finest. When we checked in we immediately noticed the tub was rusted and had a permanent mat stain in it, there weren’t enough towels for two people went to the front desk and got additional. We did the normal running around you do when you’re out of town. We woke up the next day to find bed bugs crawling on the bed. We immediately picked it up in a tissue and took it to the front desk agent. When I say she was just as shocked as we were and Regina and Ms. Gloria were wonderful people throughout this entire ordeal. Regina told us that their sister property was sold out and that she could move us into another room in about 2 hours. So we missed all of our homecoming morning events because we had not showered we had to pack all of our things go to a laundromat and wash and dry them to make sure we didn’t take any eggs or bed bugs with us. We had to go to Walmart and buy cleaning supplies and home remedies to keep the bed bugs at bay in our new room because of there is one there has to be more. We got moved to room 232 and it was like a completely different hotel the tub was clean and not rusted and no stains. So naturally being that there was bed bugs you would think we get refunded for the night due to them having a parasite that feeds on human blood in their hotel but nope the general manager never answered the front desk when she texted them about the issue. We were told to report it to Choice and they said well discounts and refunds go through the general manager. Then today to hear we can offer 25% of is crazy that’s just $16 we spent $30 on cleaning supplies to ensure that we were at least safe. Trust and believe had any other hotel had availability we would have left but they were all booked it was homecoming. Please if you stay here know that they’ve got bed bugs
Rooms: Rooms do not look the same some are outdated and others seem more recently renovated
Safety: Doors don’t close all the way you’ve gotta push them
Noteworthy details: Regina and Gloria are awesome

Worst place ever
I was grilled by some random woman in the breakfast room at 6 am when I walked down to make a tea. I wasn’t allowed to do anything until I gave her my room number, which I couldn’t remember because a) I travel for a living, at a new hotel very 2-4 nights and b) I checked in at 22:00 the night before and went straight to bed. She laughed when I told her I didn’t remember my room number but that I would come back down later to give it to her. Well, that wasn’t good enough for this random woman with a room roster clipped to a clip board and a god complex, and I was sent back upstairs to check what my room number was before I was able to grab a cup of hot water.
Sadly this hotel was the best last minute option at that time of night. Landing in a private airplane for work purposes, I still don’t want to be checked off for my FREE BREAKFAST like I’m entering some exclusive Hollywood party just to make a freaking black tea in a GD paper cup. Don’t take your jobs so seriously.
Rooms: Crummy and questionable.
Food and drinks: Free breakfast is not allowed unless you’re staying there. Make sure you know your last name and room number because there will be a quiz before you’re allowed to pour your morning coffee.

Decent hotel for the price. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy. The lady at the desk (eye patch) was friendly and got everyone checked in within a timely manner during a later hour. The breakfast was good and hot. Plenty of parking.
(The hallway cleanliness could use some attention)
Rooms: Cleam, comfy beds
Walkability: Gas station, target and restaurant within walking distance.

Caught the cold when I got here. Room was stale making the cold worse. AC unit in the room was not pushing enough air. Cold got better once I left.
Our room was 117 before we changed to room 202

The layout in the room was different BUT it was good. Clean , best night sleep in a week. We had a small issue with the frame on the bed, mentioned it at checkout and the front desk employee was very apologetic. The location was great for all kinds of eateries. I will stay again if we travel that way.

I've worked the front desk in hotels for 5 years so I gave them leave way on some things, but NEVER AGAIN will I stay here.
Pro:
1. Good location to just about anything you need: shopping, restaurants, highway. Everywhere I needed to go (including family members homes) was within a 10 min. 5 stars for that.
2. Room had working AC, microwave, TV, hot water, clean sheets, and a good fridge. Everything that you would expect. 2 stars for that.
3. Staff was not very knowledgeable on basic hotel details, but they were all very nice (front desk, breakfast staff, housekeeping). 2 stars for that.
4. They offer 20% military discount while many hotels don't offer any discount at all.
5. Breakfast was good. Eggs, grits, waffles, yogurt, sausage, french toast, toast, bagels, juice, coffee, and tea.
Con:
1. Rooms needed to be upgraded (paint the walls), needed a phone and a clock in the rooms. They offer basic older rooms for what they charge. Lost 3 stars for that.
2. Breakfast sign had the wrong times on it (I missed breakfat the first morning because it ended at 9:30am, but the sign said 10am). Even the evening front desk clerk thought it ended at 10am.
Also at midnight, the front desk clerk is nowhere to be found. I called the front desk phone and went down to the desk and no one was around. Lost 1 star for that.
3. THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL'S BACK! My toilet got clogged at 8pm and maintenance should have still been present at least till 11pm....but this is Albany. I had to call the front desk on my cell. The front desk clerk came to my room with a DISGUSTING PLUNGER. So not only did I have to plunge my own toilet, but she gave me a plunger with dried up toilet paper stuck to it and brown marks. It wasn't wrapped up or anything. She was just walking down the hall with it exposed. HOT GHETTO MESS!!! Lost 2 stars for that.

Money is lost from the rooms and no one has much to say about the staff who have access to the rooms.
