Enjoyable brewery! Had three beers while here; a lager, Mexican lager, and a sour. Everything was tasty for its style. I’ve heard a lot about this brewery in passing, but it didn’t quite live up to my lofty expectations…that doesn’t mean it was bad, however. It’s more above average as opposed to being great in my opinion; there’s so many average to below average breweries out there that this still deserves five-stars. Great venue and very friendly service. Husband enjoyed Rye Charles. I loved the Creamsicle Gose which is a milder beer with a slightly sour finish. With suggestion and help from bartender we did take out from a grill around the corner and ate our meal at the brewery. Very enjoyable experience.
I’ve been a fan of this brewery for years (bingo is the best!) and their beers + seltzers are awesome. When I started planning my wedding, I decided to rent out the place for our “night before,” and it was the best decision! Polly was beyond helpful with helping me plan things while I was living in northern Indiana! She helped keep me calm and just added the sweetest, most thoughtful details (like customs coloring pages with our wedding date for the kids ).
