The POB is...well it's a hole in the wall. That's not necessarily bad. Not at all. It just means that it's a small building off the highway and if you blink, you'll miss it. The atmosphere is great. The staff are attentive, and if you enjoy billiards, the tables are in excellent shape and can be rather busy on a Friday or Saturday night. Sometimes, it's quiet, like on a Saturday when Earl isn't hosting. You can simply drink and listen to the jukebox. Step in some time.

All around great bar definitely one of my favorites if I go out I've been going there for years all the staff are great people and the bartender Tommy is one of the coolest bartenders you'll ever run into !!!! I've never walked out of there and had a complaint about anything anybody that doesn't like this bar or Tommy and his dad needs to go somewhere else and get their head examined LMAO

Awesome little dive bar with a wonderful staff. Everyone here seems to know each other and are extremely friendly. We were immediately treated as if we've been coming here for years. The owner greeted us as well as came to tell us goodbye when we left. I will definitely be returning often to Putney Oyster Bar for the good company and cold beer.
