We have been coming to Sonny;s for years and enjoy to food. But the last three times we came we had a waitress name Brittney who really put a bad taste in our mouth. She didn't seem to have time to take our order, she had an attitude and when the food was brought out she practically threw it on the table. She never came back to the table to check on us until one of our party said something to the manage and then it was with attitude. If it was busy I could understand, it was not. maybe she was having a bad day, all three times! Needless to say, we won't be coming back, nor any of my family because they had the same experience with the same girl. what happen to customer courtesy. I will drive to Lee Co or Sylvester to get my BBQ from now on. I hate one bad apple spoils the whole basket.

Ordered the prime rib sandwich, was cold not even sure if they tried to warm it up. The meat had lots of fat on it, not good at all. Was supposed to have a horseradish sauce on it, but was missing. Won't go back anytime soon. The ribs were just ok. The worst part was it cost over $45.00, didn't even enjoy it.

My experience at Sonny's BBQ is always on point. My favorite go to meal is the Sonny's Sampler with all white meat (2), sliced brisket, sweet and smoky ribs, mac and cheese, and green beans with an added side of loaded tots or egg rolls.
I love Sonny's since everything changed awhile ago until yesterday. I have been craving and went for lunch. The manager is usually there keeping it going but this was weekend so things seemed different. We stood in nearly empty place while two people talked and others ignored us. Finally one of the people talking seated us. Took drink order and went back to talking. Finally got drink and gave order. 3-4 other table filled. Was told appetizer would come with meal. Meals finally arrived, completely wrong, still no appetizer, she said he got another order and was just now making it? Food went back, kept the side we got right to eat since we were so hungry now. Food returned. I do not know what happened in kitchen, but regular cook must have not been there. Still no tots when order was returned, said they would bring. Meat was thick and chewy, not anything I have had there before, when tots came they were small dark and hard. Even the bread was hard. Didn't finish, didn't want what was left. So very disyin one of my favorite places.🙁 Hope not the new norm.
I have the time of my life at Sonny's here in Albany. After church every Sunday, meet and greeted by the best. Would put Albany above all the restaurants. I would give 100 stars if I could to management to servers! My number 1 server is Miss Von. She is always on task, time, and on target! Hats off to Von and the management team! Such a horrible dining experience that me and my children did not even get to eat we were sat down 30 minutes to an hour and never received drinks nor did anyone take our order to be honest seems to me the only value white customers
