D is king!! Marissa is the atmosphere. Best food in Albany so far.Brisket is my favorite. But I've also enjoyed their catfish, burnt ends, ribs, and most sides.If you skip over triple D you have missed a flavor adventure
F sonny's. This places is so much better. The BBQ is just outstanding. Service are friendly. Order pork plates. OMG can't taste the hickory and flavor all at once. No doubt I'll be going back.
I tried this place because I saw it when I was in the Brooks shopping plaza. I'm so glad I did, this is the best BBQ I have had that was not in somebody's backyard. I got the Brisket dinner, with mac and cheese, and baked beans, and also ordered the cornbread waffle. I ordered the waffle thinking it was just a piece of cornbread cooked in a waffle iron. NOPE!!! It was a whole dang waffle, I laughed at myself thinking otherwise. The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring...
