Exceptionally good (great) pizza. The tiramisu is delicious too.

The restaurant has new management / chef in the last 3-6 months… since then, the pizzas are new and (IMO) improved.
Really pleased I still have a pizza joint close to home, and even more pleased that it’s really REALLY delicious and very reasonably priced.

If you haven’t had the new chefs pizza… you really must try it.

So good! The gluten-free crust is amazing—crispy, flavorful, and surprisingly light. You don’t feel weighed down at all after eating. You can really taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients from Italy. One of my favorite local pizza spots.

My family and I ordered the margherita , pepperoni hot honey and the Bianca! All 3 were amazing, light and airy crust and it’s charred perfectly. I love the sauce on the pizzas as well. I would highly recommend stopping by. Great customer service :)

CHAR is a great addition to the Halcyon Market hall, bringing fresh-ingredients and wood-fired pizza at an extremely reasonable price-point. Today we tried quite a few things off their menu, but my favorite was the Pistadella, with crushed pistachios. Absolutely amazing. Next time we are in the area, we definitely plan to check out their lunch special.

My husband and I LOVE Char! We get basically everything. Pizza, salad, Nutella pizza dessert. My fav is the classic margherita pizza with pepperoni! The char salad with their homemade dressing is TO DIE FOR. So fresh and refreshing! The service is so good and they’re very informative and patient if you’re indecisive on what to get. The Nutella pizza dessert is also the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch with pistachios. 10/10 coming here!

Never seen such a consistent menu, come here once a week and have tried everything on their menu. Every single thing on this menu is insanely good, even the plain cheese pizza taste out of this world. Highly recommend this place over anything in Halcyon

This place is great! Their pizza is definitely better than Novo’s in Dunwoody. Even though Novo has more toppings on theirs, the flavor at Char is unbeatable. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh—the artichokes practically melt in your mouth, the burrata is rich and buttery, and the arugula makes you feel like you’re eating something straight out of Italy.

It’s not really their fault, but I’d recommend dining at Halcyon rather than getting your food to go. By the time I got home, the pizza had become a bit floppy and soggy.

As for the focaccia… it’s not bad—not at all—but compared to other places, like Yeppa & Co in Buckhead, it’s just not the best. And that’s okay! This spot is absolutely worth visiting. The woman working there was so sweet and kind, and I’ll definitely be back, especially to try the Nutella pizza she recommended.

This is my 3rd time eating since the new ownership! The pizza right here is AMAZING, you can tell the quality of the dough is WOW. The sandwiches also are great! Really recommend this place!

Favorites like the spicy Brava, La Passione with meatballs and peppers, Margherita DOP, with bufala mozzarella and our favorite Pepperoni Hot Honey each bring their own personality — bold, refined, and unforgettable. The Truffle Wood Pizza, topped with mushrooms and caramelized onions, is pure indulgence and adds a rich, earthy depth that beautifully complements the menu. Even the Caesar and Rucola Salads stand out — crisp, bright, and elevated with the same attention to detail you’d expect from a truly chef-driven kitchen. To finish, the house-made Tiramisu and Cannoli were the perfect sweet finale to an exceptional meal.

There was 6 of us and every bite at Char Pizzeria Halcyon reflects Chef John’s years of dedication and mastery as a pizzaiolo. It’s more than a restaurant — it’s a culinary experience that raises the standard for pizza in Atlanta. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates authentic craftsmanship, warm hospitality, and exceptional flavor.

One of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve ever had in the Atlanta suburbs. Exceptional quality ingredients and a chef who knows how to put out a pizza that is hot like lava! Mille Grazie per una pizza eccezionale!
