I’m SO glad I found Flatlands. I’ve been in town for a couple days and disappointed with the food experiences thus far. Flatlands negated all of that and put Alpharetta back on the map for me. Everything I had was delectable. I had the catfish nuggets, a garden salad (w/ the the jalapeño ranch), a cocktail and beignets. 10/10. Highly recommend!

Oh and Anna & Annie were great servers!
My family is from New Orleans, so the food reminds me of home ? .
Gumbo is pretty good also. Haven't had a bad meal there yet!
Been there multiple times, 1 of my favorite places to eat when in town.

What I like the most about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It is not too fancy but rather cozy, unique, and interesting. The restaurant cabin is inviting and the server is friendly. Food was alright — I wish the jambalaya was little less salty, but it tasted good with shrimp. Crawfish Etoufee was also good, I appreciate that they put so much crawfish in the etouffee! (Between the jambalaya and the etouffee, I personally liked the etouffee better.) Great place for a date or...
