The renovations are beautiful. The food is great! But the reason we come here is Eduardo!! Never a better experience than with him!

i love this place. the food is always so amazing and the staff take good care of you. i've never had a bad experience there, and they have a good waitlist system that keeps you updated on when your table is ready. i love la parilla, even though my clothes smell like mexican food after. it's worth it.

Unfortunately, my favorite Mexican restaurant has gone downhill. Once La Parilla remodeled, the service declined and frankly, the ambience declined as well. The servers lack attention to their customers, and sadly, the management doesn't care or listen to the regulars of over 20 years who have poured out their wallets to enjoy the traditional Mexican fare and culturally-invigorating environment (or so it was until the remodel). What a shame that one inexperienced and rude bartender named Veronica is allowed to continue working at an establishment after many, many customers have complained about her. The lackluster environment can be fixed and needs more color and warmth, but unfortunately, when bad "seeds" are the face of your establishment, nobody enjoys eating there. Wake up, La Parilla.

Good Mexican-American food without being great. You can find the same Speedy Gonzalez lunch specials at a million places like this, and these guys do it as well, or better than most. I give the tableside guacamole a 75.
