We usually love Oak, but on this night, it took 2 hrs before we got our food. We had to wave the waiter down to get more cocktails, instead of him checking on us. One of the fish dishes was overdone, probably from sitting under the heat lamps so long.

Perfect spot for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, the service was attentive, and the food was excellent. Came with Taylor and Amir and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend for celebrating a special occasion.

Oak Steakhouse in Alpharetta is hands-down one of the most underrated steakhouses in the Atlanta area. After visiting so many “top-rated” spots this year, this one absolutely deserves to be that list!!! The chef is incredible, the service is flawless, and the food is truly outstanding.A phenomenal experience — highly recommend.

We brought my Dad here for his 80th birthday. I had made the reservation through open table and noted it would be his 80th. The restaurant reached out ahead of time and asked if he had any hobbies/interests etc., I also mentioned he was gluten free. While texting with them I asked to add a ninth to our reservation which they happily accommodated. Our server Casandra was amazing! Very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We brought our own wine which was special to share with my Dad, there's a corkage fee of course but happy we could bring our special bottles. The appetizers we had were the shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, and the pork belly. All were excellent, the pork belly was amazing! Mains included the Beef Wellington, Dry Aged Bob in Ribeye, Bolognese, Sea Bass, and several New York Strips. All were excellent and cooked to the correct temperature. Sides were the Brussels sprouts and Cauliflower (best side, truly amazing), mashed potatoes loaded (also very good), the sautéed mushrooms (excellent with the steaks), Frites, and they also brought us the sweet potato casserole on the house and it was really good! Then for desert they made a special gluten free desert for my Dad, and brought us two of the Apple donuts hole deserts on the house which were also amazing! The staff really went out of their way to make this a special night for my Dad and our family. On top of that the food was all amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We really appreciated their efforts and look forward to returning soon!

Great food, noise level is what you would expect on a busy Saturday night. The waitress could have been a bit friendlier, though. She seemed like she deigned to be there rather than desired to be there.

I love eating at the Oak every time I get to town! It's one of my favorites. The staff always goes over and above to make our experience special! I've never been disappointed. The food is delicious! They have a good wine selection. I don't usually eat dessert but I do at the Oak. Always something different and worth sharing.

Taylor, our server, was amazing! She has wonderful communication skills, a good sense of humor, and knows the menu by heart. The food was outstanding. Every course exceeded our expectations. Fatina, the manager, came by and made sure we had everything we needed, and was also very personable. This was our first dining experience at the Oak Steakhouse. Apparently, they have a new head chef. What a wonderful dining experience!

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Avalon. The service is amazing and so is the food. Everything we ordered was really good and tasted amazing. Except for the steaks which were amazing, we loved the shrimp appetizer and brussel sprouts dishes.
