Very flavorful generous portions of well known Mediterranean dishes. I tried both as take - out, eat in and delivery. Never disappointed.

Food thrown together with no care, presentation, or concern of how the food will travel in the to-go box. Gyro was not rolled or wrapped in aluminum so the contents on the wrap was a mess in the box, which then soaked my fries and made my upcharged Greek fries soggy. Meat was on the dry side and rather bland. One positive note- the tabouleh had great, rich flavor! Downside is that it was no more than a large tablespoon serving size. Photo attached of tiny portion oftabouleh.Overall: Do not recommend until owner addresses issues.

Ordered takeout via telephone. Food was not prepared correctly, meals missing vegetables, meals with wrong sides and fries cold as though they’d been sitting out under a fan. I called to complain and notify the restaurant. Hostess said that nothing could be remade. I then requested a refund, but she denied that as well so I told her I would leave a review. She scoffed and chuckled as she said “ok, leave a review”So here’s your review and tip of advice: Provide customers with what they purchase and always, ALWAYS, teach staff customer service. Attitude really is everything.

Lamb was very dry. Wrap sort of just thrown together with no thought on ease of eating or staying together. Just seemed a bit amateur. Fries were good but that's not exactly something to cherish.

Looking for a new greek resto to try and found this. The staff is very friendly and nice that’s why i added a star. It was not what I expected like what I’m used to in other medi resto but it’s good. In fairness, they do have the best Tabbouleh in town. It tastes just perfect. I asked for more and Obet happily obliged. I am def going back to try other dishes they offer. My coworker actually knows them and said she loves this place.

I've been a resident of Alpharetta for 15 years. Have ALWAYS loved eating here. But the flavor is not the same anymore. I gave 2 stars only because the fries are hot and the dessert is delicious! Beef/lamb meet was very very bland.

I grew up eating at the Macon location. So was pleasantly surprised to discover we moved close to their Alpharetta location. They did not disappoint. I opted for the Lamb Beftiki with fries and we split Baklava. Tasty and easy on the budget. We took the menu home and will, of course, be regulars from now on.

I was so excited after reading the reviews but it was so incredibly disappointing. I ordered a chicken souvlaki and it was stuffed with french fries and only three small pieces of chicken. The flavors were off, the tzatziki was runny and the tabouli didn't have enough parsley and the flavor was also off. Very disappointed

We always like lunch there. Greek foods, friendly staff, good service.

I found Papouli's for the first time yesterday. I don't live in the area but was meeting a friend who was staying nearby. I live in Roswell where my go to Mediterranean food restaurant is VAS. Papouli's would give VAS a run for it's money. The food and service were amazing. My friend and I ordered the chicken souvlaki, lamb bifteki, marinated olive and hummus appetizers, and of course couldn't leave with out baklava and kourabiethes cookies. Everything was cooked perfectly, was very fresh, and had amazing flavors that I would expect from a higher end Greek restaurant. I was very surprised by the portion sizes and the available options for sides and condiments. That's not normally something you see outside of a high end Greek restaurant. I also love that they have a market as well. Several items are available in a bulk and they have family packs you can order as well. I haven't seen an option like that outside of a farmer's market. I love that the environment is very laid back and they have a nice patio area. The staff was incredible. They were not pushy while we decided what we wanted, answered questions we had, served us quickly, and allowed us to take our time to just hang out. The atmosphere was just a really nice experience. The prices were reasonable as well for Mediterranean food. For everything we ordered, it was less than $50. That was a nice bonus.

WillNot shy to say “ hands down best gyros ever “ .We one fine day decided to try Papouli’s for gyros and expected typical Atlantaian type gyro !! But it was not all like the gyros we get here In south ! This is to the dot authentic Athens type gyros ! The meat , the tahini and the veggies all blended in the right form and fresh . I only wish a side of tzatziki sauce was extra ! It’s so very yummy ! If you didn’t try then really you missed tasting the best tzatziki ever !!The rice platter is good and the portion is good too , but I love lamb gyros ! Just can’t resist ordering them ! We have had gyros from this pace more than 5 times ?.. it’s not cheap but it’s affordable for the quality they Serve ! I won’t say please visit , but if you want to try authentic Greek , check them out , I would say you will revisit ! One thing they shouldn’t close at 8 , especially in summer !!
