I grew up eating at the Macon location. So was pleasantly surprised to discover we moved close to their Alpharetta location. They did not disappoint. I opted for the Lamb Beftiki with fries and we split Baklava. Tasty and easy on the budget. We took the menu home and will, of course, be regulars from now on.
I found Papouli's for the first time yesterday. I don't live in the area but was meeting a friend who was staying nearby. I live in Roswell where my go to Mediterranean food restaurant is VAS. Papouli's would give VAS a run for it's money. The food and service were amazing. My friend and I ordered the chicken souvlaki, lamb bifteki, marinated olive and hummus appetizers, and of course couldn't leave with out baklava and kourabiethes cookies. Looking for a new greek resto to try and found this. The staff is very friendly and nice that’s why i added a star. It was not what I expected like what I’m used to in other medi resto but it’s good. In fairness, they do have the best Tabbouleh in town. It tastes just perfect. I asked for more and Obet happily obliged. I am def going back to try other dishes they offer. My coworker actually knows them and said she loves this place.
