My husband and I ate here and both got very sick after. Besides the food poisoning, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The food is served cold and partially cooked. Don’t waste your time here.

Absolutely amazing. The taste, ingredient quality, and presentation were top notch. The restaurant is a perfect example of Mediterranean food done right.

Wish I could give zero stars. This was not good AT ALL. I need to know where the ingredients are sourced…no wonder why it was empty.

Dietary restrictions: Totally unexpected and amazingly tasty. We ordered the salmon and it was perfectly cooked, presentation was so nice and balanced with fresh vegetables, special mild yogurt sauce and perfectly balanced herb and Olive sauce over grilled vegetables. Pleasantly different place to visit with excellent service

Walking into Rina at Avalon for the first time was a bit confusing, which might be why I walked out a week ago without trying anything. This time, I came prepared with five girlfriends, determined to see what the menu had to offer since I’d heard mixed reviews.

To start, the restaurant could use a more welcoming greeter; the young man at the front wasn’t very friendly and didn’t give us much direction. Once we got past that, we found a table and settled in for a bite before our movie.

They have a happy hour board on the sidewalk, but it’s not advertised inside—you have to ask for it, as we learned from our server. While we weren't offered the happy hour menu initially, the staff kindly applied the discount to our drinks after we mentioned it.

Now for the street food! Keep this in mind when you dine here, it’s street food vibes! I ordered the lamb burger, which was cooked perfectly—it’s a must-try for any burger lover! It comes with a choice of rice or fries, and I opted for the fries, which were deliciously crispy, well seasoned and came with a dipping sauce. We ordered margaritas, another lamb burger, grilled salmon, chicken shawarma, and more fries. Everything on our table looked beautifully colorful and tasted truly delicious.

Overall, this could easily become a favorite spot for casual Middle Eastern street food. Our server was attentive and professional, making our experience quite pleasant despite the rough start.

The quality of the food, service, and overall vibe is topnotch. Hands down would recommend and return. I really wish we had this restaurant in North Carolina. The bowls are perfect for two people. ??

The mezze are absolutely delightful. The hummus was yummy and we also had the fish and chips which was crispy and hot. Don't miss the crunchy falafel.

Can’t complain about anything. It looks like a limited menu at first glance but it isn’t limited, it is delicious!!
My table got the full mezze platter and the lebneh and baba ghanoush by far my favorite!! it came with warm fresh pita too! I am hoping that is house made as well?!?! I then ordered the falafel salad, and it was perfection. The crisp of the chickpeas and the different sauces on it were divine. A table may also order the eggplant dish, and the eggplant was so flavorful.
The vibe of the restaurant is also very cool.
I would 10 out of 10 recommend trying this place out. There are still many things on the menu. I want to try like the milkshake!

Dietary restrictions: Nothing was labeled for gluten allergy.

Parking: Avalon is crazy sometimes. But this place is right by the movie theater.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: Very spacious
